Flashbacks!

What are Flashbacks?

Well, I have been blogging since 2008 and I've had some of my clothes for a very long time. I started posting Flashbacks of some of my favourite items of clothing and shoes in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to entertain myself and look back on all the ways I'd worn these items. A picture of every time I've worn it is posted in each Flashback post, along with commentary and the dates I wore them.


Why aren't there any links back to the original posts in your Flashback posts?

Phew, that's a ton of work! Plus, all of my posts have "last seen/worn" links so you can use those to jump back in time yourself.


What's up with the "Mathy stuff" at the end of the Flashback? 

That's just for fun, to see how well I've done in getting my money's worth out of my clothes and shoes. Paying $400 for a pair of shoes seems like a lot (and it is!) but when I realize I've worn those shoes 50 times (which works out to $8/wear), for example, that shows me that it's worth it to pay more for quality goods. It's also fun to get down to "cents per wear" on some of my thrifted items. Cost-per-wear is an important consideration for many of us, whether buying something new or something from the thrift shop.


How are these links grouped? 

I've put them in "like" categories, like Shoes, Skirts, etc. with a short description. So if you have a pink pencil skirt and don't know how to wear it, you can go to the skirt category, where you'll see that I have done a Flashback on a pink pencil skirt - click it, browse and see if you get any ideas or inspiration!
