L and I had a fun-filled evening, listening to music and playing boardgames, and laughed ourselves silly over this picture of Barnabas.

I was greeted when I got out of the shower on Saturday.
"Oh, hey. Mind if I inspect the tub?"

It was forecast to be a HOT 22-degree day, so I dressed in layers.
I built the outfit around this little colourful camo tee, but I could have just as easily worn one of my band tees.

I won't be keeping the top in my "real" wardrobe, but I'll be sleeping in it! I prefer my band tees for my casual looks.

I remembered that socks + these shoes = amazing comfort, so I pulled out my neon yellow and grey Fluevog ones.
Barnabas has brought me his ball. That's our bag of reusable grocery bags in the hall - watch it.
"Throw it! Throw it!"
I wore my jacket tied around my waist briefly, while we walked over to Ditch Records after brunch.
I did throw the ball, and Barnabas skittered into the bag o' bags, which are now smushed up against the front door.
"I'm bringing it back!"
I liked the clash of the formal/architectural lines of the black with all the neon green and the sporty vibe.
"Is this what you want, buddy?"
"Ah! Throw it!"

I was ready early this week, so instead of waiting at home on such a gorgeous day, I walked down to the Ulti field and hung out, lounging on the grass until the game was over.
Oh, it's a deer!
She turned off and disappeared behind that giant tree.
Deer are everywhere.

I can just see the players in the distance.

By the time we left, there were people laying on blankets and doing yoga.
A perfect day.
The field was soft and squishy, full of clover and daisies.

I remember how long games could feel on a hot day! I played Ultimate Frisbee for 20 years.
This big yellow flowering tree smelled heavenly.
We spent the afternoon hanging out with the kittens.
I read on the deck, while L had a nap.
"I see squirrels!"

Whateley also inspected - he spotted a wasp outside the window and was very excited.
"I'm sure I can bite it!"
The concept of glass is a tricky one for kittens of small brains.
L all ready for an evening of gaming. Are you all rested up?

Rum and Coke in one hand, and a lime Jarritos in the other! Perfect!
We played until the wee hours, and enjoyed a bit of a sleep-in before I had to get up and get ready to meet Rosanna for brunch before we, Cat, Yvonne and Randall met up to see the local Victoria On Stage production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", my absolute favourite musical of all time!
I saw the touring company with Donny Osmond at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver in 1993, courtesy of Mom, who treated me to the show. We loved it, and I know every word, having listened to the soundtrack on repeat back when I worked at the year-round Christmas store.

Of course, I knew I'd be wearing this amazing and dazzling "coat of many colours" - it's perfect!
The forecast was calling for mid-20s, but that can still mean cool breezes here, so I layered a vintage camisole under my lavender mesh shirt.
I was so roasting hot by the time I met up with Rosanna at John's Place for brunch, I had to dash to the washroom and remove it.
I was glad of these pink linen/viscose pants - this is their first wearing and they were FABULOUS. They barely wrinkled!
Everyone who complimented my outfit (a few) gasped when I said, "But did you see the back?"
"I'm helping!"

The duster has two sparkly buttons - I added a bee and a moth.
This was not the most practical bag, but it matched the outfit best. I suffer for fashion, ha ha!

We finished early, as we had hoped, and had a quick 40 minute browse in the WIN Thrift Shop on Pandora.
At the checkout, Rosanna found a surprise! Three of the Bra Bags that she personally designed.
Although this is an older style, it looks like it would have been around $199.00 new. I'm happy with $26.95.
"You're a minor celebrity!" said the volunteer, and gave her 50% off the Paul Smith dress (it has fixable snags) with the peach print. "It looks like bums!" Rosanna hissed with delight. It does! I love it!
Nothing grabbed me, but this lovely python print leather purse made its way into my basket.
It's good quality, in barely used condition and has a cross-body strap.
A rear pocket, a front zip pocket and a big inside pouch with the usual zips and pockets.
