Most of them only saw my top half, but I did stand up at my desk and waggle my feet for a few of them.

I am a big fan of this bright pink (aka PANK, as in "so pink...it's PANK!") colour - it makes me feel cheery.
I played with the colours of the skirt and brought out my blue lace tights.
They looked so cool with the turquoise shoes.

Masked up.
I wore my jacket in the office all day - didn't take it off at all. We'll have a little Flashback on it shortly.

Outerwear - I just added gloves and a scarf for warmth in the morning.
It was supposed to rain today, but it held off until I got home.

Flashback: Gap Wool Moto Jacket
Yet another excellent item bought here in March 2019 on our last anniversary trip to Vancouver - that was a very fruitful shopping trip! I was drawn to the bright colour, duh.
So sweet! I love all the pockets - they are all real (I found Linda's address in one this morning from a Winesday back in 2019). And yes, it is by the Gap, from their Holiday 2013 collection. I bought it second-hand for $22.49 - it originally retailed for $195.00.
Excuse me, Gap people, you got the colour wrong - it's not "Vibrant Fuchsia"! It's PANK!
I wore it right away that evening, out for dinner, so this is March 2019.
All bundled up with my matching fur boa. Shoes Flashbacked here. I mostly wear it as outerwear, so you'll recognize many of these outfits from Flashbacks...but here they are with my jacket over them.
Also in March 2019, showing off my new jewelry and shoes from that Vancouver trip to my coworkers. Dress Flashback here.

It goes really well with my little pink slippers (same Vancouver trip!), so I had to pair them.
This was in April 2019. Pants Flashbacked here; shirt Flashbacked here. Hey, where is that scarf? That's the one I should have worn today!

Matching to my tights, also in April 2019.

I wore this outfit out for lunch for L's birthday with Mom.
I'm showing off my pretty sequined Union Jack flag purse. I gave up both the dress and the sandals after 2019.

Ah, this is the Winesday outfit that I wore to Linda's, back in July 2019.
That skirt is calling to me - Flashback here - I can't wait for hot weather to wear it again!

I love the mix of PANK and orange here in September 2019.
Those shoes again. Trousers Flashbacked here.

Mathy stuff: Including today's outfit, I've now worn my PANK jacket 9 times, which brings me to $2.50 per wear. I'm shocked and a bit sad that I only wore it once all of last spring/summer, but it's not our usual world, is it? Hopefully, I'll manage to sneak in a few more wearings out of it this season.
Are you a moto(rcycle) jacket fan? Would you ever wear a coloured one?
Love love love this outfit...the colors, patterns, fit, style, jewelry, the whole kit and caboodle! And That Jacket! Oh wow, you and it look super in every outfit - a consistent fashion co-conspirator!
ReplyDeleteHmm, the motorcycle jacket appears more fitted than the bomber jacket, so I’d likely be willing to try wearing one. As for color, with the anticipated arrival of the pink (too muted to be PLANK ;)) jean jacket this weekend, it will be my first non-blue jacket. Slowly emerging from the “blues”...I would absolutely wear a red jacket, a patterned jacket, a purple jacket and probably certain shades of green.
I imagine your day was as delightfully enjoyable as your outfit was to wear!
Cheers!
Thanks, Laurie! All that colour made me feel so good. Glad you liked it - it really does go with so much.
DeleteYes, motos are much more fitted - this one is an XS, and I bought it even though it's always been very tight done up. Size up for a better zipped fit! I'm excited for you! Please send me a pic of you in your pink jean jacket! :) Getting away from a colour rut can be very liberating. Watch out - you might go "full colour", Laurie! ;-P
It was a work day, so never "delightfully enjoyable", ha ha! But I did feel good in my outfit, so that was a big plus. Thank you, my dear!
Will do! Tracking has it slated to arrive this Friday. Excited to try on the jacket and skirt. Temps might still be cool enough to wear the skirt, as well.
DeleteYes if you were a colour I think you would be Vibrant Fuchsia. I love it. Comfy, stylish shoes so great to hear they exist. Love it all Sheila. X
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that's the colour that comes to mind for many people when they think of me, Jane! Thank you so much!
DeleteGood morning Sheila, you look so bright and cheerful and you certainly can carry off the Pank jacket. I have the brightest turqoise cardi on today and it is true colour can change your mood. I spy lots of beautiful jewellery that would go lovely with it ha ha seriously you have some lovely pieces in your collection. Yes I bet you did brighten someones day. Oh yes that gorgeous blue gown from the other day swoon is all I can say. Did comment but it didn't appear. Anyway have a great day. Shazxx
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Shaz! Thanks so much - and good for you in your turquoise cardi! Yes, ha ha, this would all go so well! Oh, thank you, glad you enjoyed seeing one of my gowns. Dang Blogger, eating comments!
DeleteLoving the pank! Great combination of colours for a totally fun outfit. I love the style of the pank jacket; it looks great open and equally as good zipped up. It photographs as leather so I was surprised when you identified it as wool. Swanky pank!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Nana! I love a mish-mash of colour, and to find a PANK moto jacket in wool is such a bonus. I'd love leather, but wool is pretty swanky, as you say!
DeleteI was thinking, I'm quite envious of Sheila's PANK jacket, but then I remember I have one too. More of a denim jacket style, but still. I definitely need to dig out some of my Spring/Summer coats and jacket, but the temperature has just dropped 10 degrees :-(
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the jacket does look absolutely brilliant with the skirt and I love the blue lace tights worn with those wonderful turquoise shoes. How lovely that you wore Karen's pendant!
I loved scrolling through the jacket's flashback, but shame on you, Gap people, you need to get your colours right! xxx
Woo hoo, time to break out your PANK, Ann! It sounds fabulous - I'll recognize it when I see it, I'm sure. Gah, stupid temps!
DeleteThank you - I loved the tights/shoes combination. I like wearing jewelry that belonged to my friend, it makes me feel close to her.
Glad you enjoyed the Flashback!
A lot of fantastic outfits with that jacket. Especially with that red skirt! And the orange top. On IG I showed a orange red and ,pank,! It's such a good combination. Also love the boa! Have a great evening!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that skirt amazing, Nancy? I can't wait to wear it again! It's interesting to see how well a bright pink goes with other colours in the red-orange spectrum. Thank you!
DeleteWhat a fabulous outfit!!! I love how you come up with names for colours- and your names for clothing items are always fantastic! The pank jacket is a gem and it looks so great on you. Yes, Gap people need to get their colours right, it's PANK not vibrant fuchsia. LOL
ReplyDeleteThe skirt you paired with this jacket is so fashion forward as well and I love those turquoise heels. The blue tights are very eye-catching as well. Such a positive colourful styling.
I loved all the outfits from your flashback but I think I like this pank jacket the most with A line dresses. The last with the dark blue dress that you wore with turquoise shoes is wonderful.
Aw, thanks so much, Ivana! I do have a lot of fun with my clothes, and have always named my favourite pieces (even when I was a kid!). PANK is just so appropriate!
DeleteThank you! I enjoyed playing with all these colours, and felt wonderful in the bright hues. Agreed, that's a great blue dress with the jacket.
The epitome of springtime! I bet you made everyone's day in that zingy colour combo. I've seen a similar jacket to yours on eBay in yellow, bet you'd rock that, too!
ReplyDeleteLove Karen's turquoise pendant! xxx
Thanks, Vix! Ooh, I'd love one in yellow...although I do already have a yellow leather jacket...
DeleteMe too. I love having her close to me.
what a fabulous outfit!, I'm in love with the delightful matchiness and fab color combo!, your Pank jacket is totally my kind of piece!, and love the way you picked some colours from the skirt and make them work together. Love the blue tights with turquoise shoes!, so gorgeous ensemble!
ReplyDeleteYour Pank jacket Rocks!, love it with orange too!
besos
Thank you, Monica! You know I love to be matchy - we think alike on that, lol.
DeleteYes I would love a coloured moto jacket and have my eye on a bright blue animal print on Vinted right now..
ReplyDeleteI love your jacket and the flashback was fab. The turquoise shoes are a very good match with it and I loved the pink/orange outfit and the last flashback outfit in particular.
Everyone needs a PANK jacket!
xxx
Oooh, that sounds amazing, Vronni! Can't wait to see it!
DeleteThank you so much!
Wow! Such a versatile jacket. I love how bright it is and that new to you skirt is really pretty. It will pair well with so much too.

Thank you, Mireille! I love the pattern in the skirt, and who knew how useful a PANK jacket could be??
DeleteHi, Sheila - Love the mask your mom made, love the turquoise bling, love your bold style! - Angie, www.yourtrueselfblog.com
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie! I appreciate your comment, and will be over to visit soon.
DeleteAll these looks! I love it!! That jacket is magical- goes with everything and I can't decide which skirt I love most- they're all so good! Thanks so much for linking up- love reading and seeing! your posts:) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lucy! I do have a lot of amazing skirts - I'm a bit of a skirt junkie.
DeleteHot pink is an excellent colour for a moto jacket - so much more interesting than black. I like the Anna Sui skirt.
ReplyDeleteI so agree, Shelley! Thanks - it's such a cool skirt.
DeleteI have a couple moto jackets but this really makes me want a pink one, haha! It's such a fun shade and I love how colourfully you've worn it. I've yet to try this shade of pink with green but I've been a bit more adventurous with pink and olive!
ReplyDeleteOh, you would look amazing in this with your olive greens, Mica! Thanks so much!
DeleteWhat a fantastic riot of colour, texture and pattern. Fuschia looks like it could have been custom made for you, my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteAutumn Zenith 🧡 Witchcrafted Life
Thanks so much, Autumn! Funny, it's not a colour I've ever gravitated towards.
DeleteHaha I love the "pank"! I also think it's fabulous that your shoes match your glasses... and Fleuvog?? I went into one of their stores in Toronto once and all the shoes were so cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining this week's linkup!

I'm big on matching, and have two pairs of glasses I swap out according to which pair works best. Oh, I have a huge collection of Fluevogs - they make the BEST shoes!
DeleteThanks, Grace!
Fun, fun, fun, Sheila! I love this bright pink jacket. What a glorious statement it makes! And then that fabulous skirt with your cool lace tights and those amazing shoes all have me in a style swoon over here!
