Before I forget, thank you so much to the very sweet Megan of MMD for the card and buttonflower!
Oxblood, dots and a kitty on the card - so me. Thank you, sweetie.Onward! When I got around to September's capsule, I was a little afraid of what the heck I was going to do with this turquoise skirt.
I'm quite happy with how nicely it goes with the teal cardigan and shoes!
I last wore the skirt here, the cardi here and the shoes here.
As it seems to have suddenly become autumnal outside, time for tights! These are a pair I picked up on clearance at the Gap way back in June for $4.95 (regular $14.95). I liked the grey texture, so matched up my Shi Studio leather belt.
I have a black cami on as well as my black leather cuff and black stone earrings.
Outerwear! The lovely aforementioned Megan found this and sent it to me back in July - it's finally cool enough to wear it.
Got my walkin' shoes on! |
I just got home from boot camp, and I'm starving and exhausted. Dinner time!
Jacket (Wilson's Leather, gift from Megan), cardigan (Kersh), cami (Esprit), skirt (Cabri, thrifted), shoes (Me Too), belt (Shi Studio), necklace (BauXo), earrings (The Cobbler), rings (Oscar & Libby's, and Wendy Brandes), cuff (Guess, thrifted).
Ooh I still can't get over how perfectly that jacket fits you. It looks so cool! So glad the card got to and the buttonflower intact.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt and top look like they were made for each other!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue colours in this outfit, the skirt and cardi work perfectly together :)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine you being afraid of any colour or piece of clothing! Your combinations are always so winning. I love these blues all thrown in the mix together. And that is an amazing belt. The button flower is wonderful - Megan Mae is a genius.
ReplyDeleteI like what you're doing with teal lately Sheila.
ReplyDeleteGreat buy on those tights. Buying off season is a smart move.
The tights! The tights! Oh my goodness, the tights!
ReplyDeleteI am totally LOVING this on you!! You definitely rock teal!
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is gorgeous. I love the simple classic lines with the beautiful saturated aqua and teal. And the patterned tights just finish it perfectly. You have such flair.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt looks great it pairs well with the darker teal!! Oh my bootcamp ...I am not sure I could make it through one of those! but just think every time you go it is a stronger more healthier you!! ~Have a great week! Love Heather
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt! I am finding lately I want a pencil skirt in every color! Right now I only have a pink one though.
ReplyDeleteAdorable flower from Megan!
Yes, like Wendy said - looks like you found this outfit pre-assembled at a chi-chi boutique! And like Megan said, the jacket is perfection. (I have no thoughts of my own today? : >)
ReplyDeleteMegan Mae is just the best! Sheila, this is a really beautiful outfit (or I should say Teriffic!) - the textures and subtleties give it such a luxurious feel, and it looks like it feels amazing to wear. It suits you marvellously well!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! The teal and turquoise work so beautifully together. I am going to recreate this with some pseudo-similar pieces...thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteYou know I loooove that color. Your outfit is such a better version of the use of that color than I've accomplished. I need to keep working on it. *drool*
ReplyDeleteVery pretty colours together. That skirt is the perfect shade of blue. Very funky tights!
ReplyDeleteThose tights are brilliant, they pull it all together. The line of the skirt & cardi make a great silhouette.
