Sept 18th - Outfit #17 - Leopard and Yellow

Would you believe I still have 3 unworn items for this month's capsule? I feel like I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit, now that I'm down to the end of my summery clothes.

However, nothing in this outfit is "fresh" this month, and none of it is really summery!
The orange leopard, be-ruffled and zippered cardigan makes another appearance (last worn here, in an otherwise positively sedate outfit), as does the yellow wool skirt (last seen here, with my lovely Chinese brocade top).

These beige booties are very cool (last worn here with some full-coverage clothing).
But my feet were sweating by the end of the day. It's still in the mid-80s/mid-20s here. I am just jonesing for autumn clothing!

Off to my WW meeting!

Cardigan (Twelve Layers, thrifted), skirt (BB Dakota, consignment), boots (Libby Edelman), leather rose cuff (consignment), earrings (gift from Megan).

    I love those booties. The yellow skirt is a beautiful surprise as we finally see some signs of fall.

    Woo yellow skirt! We're having back-n-forth weather here too. At least the month is over half over and soon enough you'll have a fresh new capsule to work with. I think you've been doing great with your challenges so far. I feel like you pick your pieces so well that it's hard to tell that you're confining yourself to only 30 pieces. I look forward to what you do in colder weather.

    Summery is a relative term - I think the yellow skirt is bright enough to be summery! And I wish we had your weather - we dip below freezing at night now - very weird since last October, it was still warm enough to go to the beach! (But not into the water!)

    A great Summery-looking outfit in Autumn colours! I want to wear my wool skirt but same as you, keep boiling in tights and short skirts. But then am cold on the way home. Sigh.
