Denim and Tweed

Red blouse (H&M), tweed skirt (Kenzie, from Dots), cropped denim jacket (Ann Taylor Loft), brown leather boots (Roberto Vianni, from Sterling Shoes), gold filigree cuff and earrings (The Bay).

I love this tweed skirt. It has everything I love: the pencil shape, pockets and the tweed is black/white with lots of brown and flashes of red, orange, steel blue and even bits of yellow and green. It goes with everything.

This shirt is probably not going to be around for much longer - the quality is not great, and I hate ironing. Another example of wackadoo sizing: the blouse is a size 10, the jacket is a 4 and the skirt is a 4. Gimme a break! Ladies, this is why you ignore the numbers and just buy what fits.

L's picture-taking skills are improving somewhat, but he missed showing all of my kick-ass boots, so here's a close-up:

The label says leather, but the back panel is PVC, which gives them a really nice hug on the calf and ankle. I love a sexy boot. These have a nice detail in the piping sort of stitching on the foot.

I got my haircut this afternoon. I am digging the pixie cut. Funny, I used to have this cut when I was a kid; now here I am with it 30+ years later.
