My most recent dragon (I've done about 15 or more of them in the last 10+ years that I've been painting). This fig is about 20 cm tall. The big pieces are surprisingly easy to do - they're just...bigger. More room to work with, easier to hold, and definitely easier to look at when they're done.
I have another amber dragon coming up, too - it's quite different looking to this one, not just in the pose but in the wings and head. At the rate I paint, it will probably be a couple of months.
