Ah, the swish of cords as your legs brush together! I have good memories of cords from the 70s when I was in elementary school. I also have bad memories of them from when I was heavier, and my cords would wear out between the thighs from "chub rub." Aiee.
I feel tough in this outfit, like kicking ass and taking names. I think it's the belt, which makes me think of punk hooligans.
I wanted some ankle booties that had a slim ankle and found these at Shoe Warehouse for about $20 (love it when it's an extra 50% off). I figure the trend won't be around forever, so why spend a ton? I've worn these with tights and skirts, but I'm not a huge fan of the bootie unless it's with a long pant - it takes a certain look if you're going to wear them with a skirt or dress. A close up of them:

Chub-rub is a new saying to me, but the reality is not. My thighs weren't happy in cords when I was a teenager. I hated the sound of them rubbing together and my brother teased me terribly! How funny to come across this - it did give me a laugh to remember.
