Today started out as a very cold, windy and grey day - so brought my own sunshine!
I've worn here here (May 2011), here (August 2011) and here in December 2011. I'm working to get my cost per wear down!\
Today, I went with the multi-coloured belt I bought on Friday (picture here), along with the stained glass shoes (also bought on Friday, picture here), and two of Megan's buttonflowers (picture of all of them here). I didn't wear the yellow flower because it's the same colour as the dress.
Needed my white leather jacket this morning, but by the time I walked home it was sunny (albeit still quite windy out). Yay! I made it sunny through sheer force of will!
Dress (Calvin Klein), shoes (vintage 80s, Gabrielli, thrifted), belt (vintage 80s, Elite, thrifted), buttonflowers (gift from Megan), bracelet (Plum), earrings (Le Chateau), ring (Wendy Brandes), coat (Le Chateau, consignment), bag (consignment).
I'm glad to see you back to full spectrum dressing. Beautiful dress and as I've said before, the shoes are wonderful.ReplyDelete
Count my jaw as dropped! That yellow dress is downright gorgeous with the stained glass accessories. Not sure if I said it before, but the shoes really do have a Fluevogian look.ReplyDelete
I love that you added the new buttonflowers to this look! (Please say I can feature it for sew sunday!)
I know, they remind me very much of early Fluevogs.Delete
Yes, please go ahead and use this look for your buttonflowers. :)
Happy Yellow! I enjoyed your last capsule but this calls to me more. Looking forward to seeing other outfits you pair those gorgeous shoes with. BestReplyDelete
Eee, I love this!ReplyDelete
From the sunny dress, to the button flowers to the shoes, this is amazing! May be my fave to date! :)
I think I want to take posing lessons from you. I love the diagonal Sheila pose.ReplyDelete
OMG, I love this!! It's so happy and those shoes are perfect! Is there any color you can't wear? I think not!ReplyDelete
I look really bad in camel/tan/beige, especially near my face.Delete
You look super fabulous! So glad to see you back in full living color. And thanks for bringing out the sun. I actually saw my breath at the bus stop this morning!!ReplyDelete
Love this outfit you look great in it. I don't comment every day but I read your blog first thing every morning it is my favorite. I just started reading a couple of months ago and so enjoyed going back and catching up on the last few years. My husband and I have all of the Star Trek Christmas ornaments like you do and we are going to a huge Star Trek convention in Las Vegas in August. (I know, we are such nerds) Also congrats on the weight loss and maintaining it.ReplyDelete
Lisa, thank you so much for reading - even reading the archives! How cool that you like Star Trek! Nothing at all wrong with being a nerd!Delete
You look gorgeous and so summery in this dress! I love how well the belt and shoes match too! :)ReplyDelete
SHABAM! Great colour and totally worth the $70! The shoes and belt almost match perfectly - I love it when that happens.ReplyDelete
Wow, what a cool dress, in such a nice colour! Love it!ReplyDelete
Gorgeous in yellow! I love that you're wearing your new colorful shoes and belt, and of course the fab buttonflowers.ReplyDelete
What a sunny, attractive color. Perfect base for an outfit.ReplyDelete
Gorgeous dress - but my very favorite is all the colored accessories you added - it's beautiful.ReplyDelete
Your shoes caught my eyes first, I knew they were uniquely vintage :)

You are glowing in yellow!! :)ReplyDelete
It's hard to go wrong with a Calvin Klein dress; they're just so well done, and that yellow is amazing. Also love, love, love the shoes and MMD button flowers :)ReplyDelete
