And after all the thunder and lightning last night, we are back to warm breezes and sunny skies. A perfect day for Ultimate! But first, I went to my WW meeting.
This silk dress is finally being worn as a dress! I last wore it here as a blouse, in case you forgot. Today, I kept everything very simple, just belting it and wearing the gold sandals (last worn here, 2nd outfit).I also have gold hoop earrings on. I take off all my jewelry to play Ulty: my rings, my earrings, anything else. I don't want to accidentally hurt someone while trying to catch a disc.
Dress (Smoking Lily, thrifted), belt (Bianca Nygard), shoes (Naturalizer, consignment).
Last night, it was pouring rain, so I got to break out my new-to-me orange trench coat for the walk down to the gallery. A perfect opportunity for L and I to do a portrait.
I love his porkpie hat.
My raincoat (purchased here) came out beautifully in the wash - no drycleaning needed! I had my "I Sizzle in the Drizzle" umbrella and my Toblerone-shaped purse as well.
Hope your weekend is full of sunshine and happiness!
Coat (Bebe), purse (Aldo, consignment).
I LOVE that dress!! and it would look awesome with your amazing orange trench!!
ReplyDeleteLove L in the hat!!
I think it'll look amazing with lots of stuff! Thanks!
DeleteThat is such a fabulous dress. Not like any other Smoking Lily I've ever seen. That orange coat would be great with the dress too.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering if these t-shirts were L's style. http://www.punkmasters.com/
No, me neither - I wonder if it was a one-off?
DeleteThanks for the link - cool!
You're always rockin' the perfect colors! And your influence in styling for your hubby is apparent...well, unless he's a natural too. That rain coat color is fantastic. How come I never find anything like that? And your purse!!!!!!! Does it have any chocolate in it??
ReplyDeleteNo chocolate - I wish!
DeleteYou have such great taste in clothing. I need to try your pose....you look like you should be seated in your chaise...being fanned and fed grapes...LOL...love it!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your raincoat.
ReplyDeleteHow cute are you in that floral dress? Your new trench is fabulous too, and L. looks so stylish. Love his shoes.
ReplyDeleteI just love how cute you and L are. And uber-stylish! As a single gal, I love seeing happy couples - give me hope :)
ReplyDeleteI'm usually not a huge floral person, but I really love the print on that dress. It's so bright and summery.
ReplyDeleteI love your "toblerone" purse and trench! So chic. Hooray for more men's fashion. I think L could run his own fashion blog. ;P Heehee.
L is very fashionable - he had the natural inclination when I met him, and he's let me educate and encourage him to really express himself in his clothes.
DeleteAww you look like such a cute couple! :) Really like that last picture.
ReplyDeleteYour dress is beautiful too, I like the print :)
Love it! So simple and pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou are rockin' the dresses lately.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the photo of you guys together. So funny, Dear Hubby is on a NYPD Blue marathon, currently 8th season I believe, and in one of the episodes, a character's pork pie hat was his chief identifying feature :)
I love the couples photo...and the new raincoat.
