Digital Forest, Purple Wool and Groovy Boots

I'm now overdue for my closet swap-over and I'm having to get creative with my summer clothes.
The sparkly black turtleneck returns!

  • Sparkly turtleneck - Jacob, thrifted; last seen here under a mod cocoon in April
  • Top - Clover Canyon, thrifted; purchased here for $11.95
  • Skirt - Diane Von Furstenberg, thrifted; last worn here in April with grey bookends
  • Boots - United Nude, consignment; last seen here (2nd outfit) in April with black, white and red

It's a thin viscose knit with a smattering of sparkle, and it's perfect for layering. Get used to it - I wear it a lot in chilly weather.
I really wanted to get this light blouse into an outfit before it goes away until next March.

It was okay with the turtleneck - it'll look better with a cami or tank underneath, but it was too chilly in the office that much arm/shoulder exposure.
Isn't the print cool? I love that digital forest.

My purple skirt is wool - much warmer than my other thin skirts.
I always have a few warmer things for when I'm running behind or the weather's acting up.

Incognito. I felt very bright and happy in this vintage 70s raincoat.
I use my own belt with it - the original is weirdly tiny.

Accoutrements:
I adore green and purple together. That's one of my Classy Designer scarves - Jeanne Lanvin! It's so soft.

  • Leather gloves - Danier Leather
  • Silk scarf - Lanvin, vintage 80s, consignment

The stuff:
Such groovy boots! Very futuristic.

Bold bling:
Some old friends, some new ones.

  • Green cuff - consignment
  • Silver/Lucite cuff - Alexis Bittar, consignment, Vancouver
  • Silver/aventurine ring - consignment
  • Silver/malachite ring - consignment
  • Silver/crystal ring - Soul Flower
  • Silver earrings - Israeli, consignment

We've got temperatures of 22°C forecast for the weekend, hopefully I can stay in my Gladiators and cotton maxis for a while longer! xxx
