Pointing out that I did tuck the front of my sweater into my jeans, to show the belt off. But I didn't realized I'd forgotten until I did the last pic in the morning, which is now the Stair Pose as it's so freaking dark out now.

Busted! Wearing jeans!
I was still dressier than everyone there.
Without the jacket, which I took off for a few hours in the morning.
Gah, I can see the belt through the bottom of the sweater! It taunts me!

Finally wearing this yellow Bianca sweater that I bought for $5 back in July.

This is how I looked for most of day.
Outerwear - the blazer is very thick, and the sweater is wool, plus I had a cami on.
All I needed was the scarf and gloves.

I also carried an umbrella both ways, which irked me - I hate not having a hand free. I must start wearing my fall hats again!

I wore the heart pin and the bar pin (mine from high school!) on the blazer.
In case anyone commented, those are not necessarily jeans, but denim pants! What a great outfit, and of course you have plaid boots which match one of your blazers :)

In my book your look is professional and the pants are simply white pants. Why do we have to label them jeans or denim when pants will do. The word jeans conjures up specifics for me, though I used to call them dungarees (for the stove pipe ones) or bell bottoms back in the 60s! Yup, they were blue denim, but I rarely called them that. Take the blue out of the denim and the pants become something other than jeans. :)

I've been wearing a lot of dresses lately - such easy outfit options. I like the white jeans - totally would have worked in my office! And the blazer and knit match so nicely together.
