Pshaw! I've been wearing this suit for years!

It all comes down to wearing whatever the heck you want. I liked this suit - so I bought it, and first wore it way back here in May 2019. That's an eternity ago in trend terms! Those designers are copying me, ha ha!
I saw a bunch of coworkers and fellow building tenants today and everyone LOVED this look! It's very Boss Lady.
Even though the pattern on it is shades of brown and tan, it's easy to just treat it as a black suit.
After all, I was one of the Men In Black (remember this bit of hilarity here at the start of the pandemic?).
I like it best with the jacket done up, but I undid it when I was seated.
The top is actually a bodysuit, and I'd totally forgotten that I bought this back in February - it had been sitting at the bottom of my bag of delicates, waiting for me to wash it.
When I steamed all my clothes last night (as I do before I wear almost everything), I discovered this.
Two embroidered Es back to back, for Escada. Fancy!

It's so chilly in the mornings, but roasty-toasty on the way home. I could have taken this sleeveless coat off. I certainly did not need the scarf and gloves!

My shoes had a bunch of admirers today, including one of my VPs - I sent her a "Non-Work-Related" email with a link to the black pair. I love my fashionable colleagues!

My snake belt doesn't really match - the bronze metal on it vs. all this silver and steel - but I let it go. It's such a cool belt!

I always think of an oversized suit being a really huge shoulder padded nightmare from the 80s, this one is very elegant!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely the boss. In clothes or home wear, I hear trend and think boring fast fashion. Now, I have no style other than to say I like what makes me feel good clothes and home.
