Mar 2nd - Outfit #2 - I Love the (Eighteen) 80s

Happy Friday! I'm dashing off to a vintage fair in a few minutes, so gotta be quick. Here's the outfit:
Green layering tee (not part of the capsule) under one of my new Threadless t-shirts*. I adore graphic tees, but they have to be just right for me. It's called "I Love the Eighteen (80s)" and I totally love it - even the "Flashdance" neckline. The swirls at the top are embroidered on (there's interfacing on the back so that the fabric doesn't pucker).

The skirt is new-to-me - I picked it up for $28.00 on consignment last month.
I had not heard of the brand before, but it fits like a dream. I have a denim skirt addiction; this makes 5, I think! But they're all different!

This one does make my bum look good:
My Hispanitas boots make their first appearance, last worn here. Sorry, no stuff pictures. I'm wearing hoop earrings, a silver chain with a silver feather, silver S and brass key charms, my steampunk brown leather cuff, and my newer black leather cuff.

Here's a close-up of the t-shirt design:
One million points to the person who gets the reference in this t-shirt. I didn't get it until a few days after it came by mail, when it suddenly twigged. If you've never seen this movie, do yourself a favour. One of the best teen movies of the 80s.

Have a great weekend!

Tee (Threadless), long-sleeved tee (Plum), skirt (Optionelle), boots (Hispanitas, consignment), cuff (SkinzNHydz), black cuff (thrifted).

*I link because I love. I received no discount or promotion for linking to Threadless.

  1. I love tee shirts that had that added textured of embroidery! Also it's a not-John Cusack! Hope you have a great time at the vintage fair. That sounds awesome!

  7. Kickboxing. Sport of the future.

Love the skirt. You don't need any "booty pops" with that skirt. =)
