Well, it's Monday. Thank you so much for all your kind words about Inigo. He is doing okay today, and we are checking on him frequently and giving him lots of love and attention. He doesn't seem to be in any pain.
With the time change this weekend, it's too dark outside in the morning to take my stair pictures, so those will have to wait for a bit. It was also insanely blustery out today - many Victoria residents had no power!
This is today's outfit:
I see Inigo in the background, sitting on his knapsack. |
Don't forget to check out Patti's Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet Style!
The skirt is new, from my Smoking Lily haul last month:
Inigo can't resist looking at the camera. Such a ham. |
The skirt is called the "Keith" skirt (which I wish I'd remembered, as I would have teased our IT guy, Keith, about it). It was $30.00. If you checked that link to Smoking Lily's blog (remember, I like 'cause I love, and receive no compensation), you can see the pockets in the front of it better.
The design is electrical circuits, which I love - my dad was an electrician.
The stuff:
Second wear of these shoes (previously worn here in this capsule), and they continue to impress me. Such a classic shape, and they are so comfortable!
A close-up of the jewelry:
Vintage copper jewelry. I like the blue in the brooch - it picked up the blue in the floral blouse well. The earrings are stamped.
Vest (RW & Co., thrifted), blouse (no label, but probably Bianca Nygard, consignment), skirt (Smoking Lily "Keith"), shoes (Nine West, thifted), brooch (vintage, 50s/60s), earrings (Renoir, vintage 50s/60s).
Super awesome bonus: a movie of Inigo after he's had his dinner. Lots of licking his lips and rubbing things.
Thanks for the sweet video of Inigo. After they've had their dinner my two furballs suddenly lose all interest in us... Great outfit today. Love the earrings.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the bonus movie! I've been watching all night (it's 02:19 here in the UK) for news. My heart is with you all. Also, you look wonderful and I want your schematic skirt. :)
ReplyDeleteInigo knows how to appreciate sensual pleasures! Admiring the electrical layout on the skirt...and the shoes are the pair I've been looking for all winter, without success.
ReplyDeleteOh hey Inigo - I was thinking about you all day today. You are indeed a handsome and sweet kitty. Be well.
ReplyDeleteSheila, your outfit is very cool, and I really love the electrical skirt! Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday with your awesome self.
I'm glad your poor kitty is comfortable and enjoying some attention. I just went back and read your last post and I am so sorry to hear about his problems. He looks like a very sweet cat who knows he is loved.
ReplyDeleteFabulous new skirt. And how nerdy is the print? I love it.
ReplyDeleteI am gushing over the Inigo video. He's so adorbs. If it's any consolation, lungs don't have pain-sensing nerve endings. So he probably isn't feeling much pain if any. Still sending you all lots of good vibes and wishes for good news.
Cool print. You rock. You really do.
ReplyDeleteInigo does indeed look content and happy - so wonderful so see. He inspired the kitty in my drawing today.
ReplyDeleteElectrical circuits on a dress, that's brilliant, I'm glad you had the closeup so I could see, and also the closeup of your blouse in your previous post to picture the blue brooch with the pattern. Looking fab even if sad...
I loved the video of Inigo! :) He's so cute, I like how he does a little bit of exercise after dinner walking around and then says I'm done, rub my belly!
ReplyDeleteI really hope he continues to be okay, keeping him and you in my thoughts.
Your outfit is pretty today too, I like the skirt.

What a fab skirt!!! Love that pattern. And your kitty, so adorable and sweet...
ReplyDeleteAww, he's so sweet, I love the video!!
ReplyDeleteThe print on your skirt is awesome - my husband is an IT guy and would probably think that was the coolest thing ever if I wore something like that!
He is so cute ! He's a very well fed "panda" cat.
ReplyDeleteI love the part where he just looks at the camera with those gorgeous eyes. Totally melts you away.
Hope that all goes well for him.
Lovely skirt!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's so sad about Inigo (it's just now that I got the time to read your previous post)! I'm sorry! it's never too late to send him my good wishes, so that's what I'm doing right now.
