Mondays are so hard when you've had a full (and extra long) weekend! I went with an old tried and true outfit: button-down shirt under my wool strapless dress:
This is my micro-polka dot shirt, and this dress has had a lot of wear over the couple years that I've had it.
I liked the polka-dot tights with it:
The light is so non-existent in the mornings now - plus it's freezing outside! I might have to cut back on the stair shots until winter is over.
I've worn nearly all the same accessories - shoes, belt and earrings - together previously.
Don't forget to check out Visible Monday!
Sweet ensemble, my friend. Don't freeze yourself for us. Indoor outfit shots are lovely, too. Plus, they have kitties in them!ReplyDelete
Hooray for red and black on a Monday. I love your dotty tights. Like you, I went with what works today. This weekend was great, but it was a rough Monday morning.ReplyDelete
I wore a very similar shirt yesterday! :-D love the dress and the shoes! :-)ReplyDelete
Love your double-dots and of course your killer Flue's : > Thanks so much for linking up to Visible Monday - and thanks again for the cool blouse that's featured. You are too kind : >ReplyDelete
Shut the front door, those shoes are fanTAStic!ReplyDelete
I like the pattern of those Fluevogs. It looks cute with the tights.ReplyDelete
The shoe matches the tights which match the cat!ReplyDelete
I have a red cord strapless dress I love wearing for work with a polo neck. I love your ensemble with the shirt.ReplyDelete

Thanks, A-Dubs! I think the outdoor shots are done for the season (unless it's later in the day). There will be lots of kitties.ReplyDelete
Megan, thanks! I was pretty exhausted after that crazy weekend.
Ki, great minds think alike! Thanks!
Patti, thank you - I love Visible Monday - I've met so many awesome bloggers. :)
Wendy, ah, you figured out my plan.
Jane, I love wearing tops under strapless - it feels so rebellious!
Cara, I hope your new job is going well!
I would love to have a pair of spectators like that. And the pairing of the button down shirt and wool dress is very intriguing.ReplyDelete
Paula, aren't they amazing? I was so excited to find them.ReplyDelete
