Serve and Be Served!

So...these are one of my new pairs of Fluevogs! I'm so excited. I showed them to everyone and they all oohed and ahhed. Most gratifying.
My lovely husband bought them for me (and another pair of Fluevogs, coming this week) for our anniversary, which is this weekend. I bought him the red pair in the gargantuan post below.

Today's outfit was built around the plaid skirt, which has tan, red and blue in it.

The stuff:
The shoes are from John Fluevog's "Teapot" series (I was told they are discontinuing them...so sad!). Mine are called "Sencha" (a type of tea) and the colour is cherry.

Check this out:
The heel is like a teapot spout!

And the sole (won't be pristine like this for long):
Aw! So cute!

And....
I like that.

Suit jacket (Le Chateau), gold blouse (some cheap brand, label's worn off), skirt (Jacob, consignment), belt (Plum), shoes (Fluevog), gold hoop earrings.

  3. Aw, so cute. I love the attention to detail in the Fluevogs. Maybe someday I can be a proud owner of a pair. And good thing you were able to get a pair of the Teapot series before they are gone.

  4. What a hubby!

I have one pair from the teapot series that give me tremendous walking difficulties. How'd you do in these?

  5. I love this outfit and love the shoes. I never have understood the deal with Fluevogs, but I don't have any, in any event, they look great!

  6. Thanks, MS!

The picture doesn't do the colour full justice, Mervat - it's really gorgeous.

You know I love the details, Kayleigh!

That's one of the things I love the most about Fluevogs, Alison - those details really make the shoes. They do have a clearance section on their site - check it out.

Yeah, he's a good guy, Sal. No problem walking in these at all - that sucks about yours.

You look wonderful. Nothing like new shoes to add a spring to your step. :-)

  11. Thanks, V! The deal with Fluevogs...They are all handmade, beautiful materials, and the attention to detail is wonderful. They are also very comfortable (some styles moreso than others).

    Erin, thanks!

Cat, I knew you would like these - check out the other styles online.

Modest Mom, yes, I've trained him well in the gift-giving: I tell him exactly what I want. Thanks so much! I agree!

Diane, from the queen of poses, that's great praise, thank you!
