Last Yellow, Snake Print Bookends, and Balls

This is a short week for me, with some vacation time coming - it's still a Monday, though. 

I could use a little sunshine!

A jolt of bright yellow will always make me happy. 

• Silk wrap top - Diane Von Furstenberg, consignment; last worn here (2nd outfit) with these same shoes in September 2022
• Skirt - Mister Leonard, vintage 80s, thrifted; last seen here in September 2022
• Shoes - Big Presence Desmond, Fluevog, consignment; last worn here in April with grey and purple

However, we will be saying farewell to this lovely vintage wool pencil skirt after 9 years in my closet.

It's getting moth-eaten and has stains down the front. 

I have now worn it 17 times since I bought in Feb 2014 for a whopping $8.50. 

That's 50 cents per wear! I love having yellow in my wardrobe, so it's always sad to see a piece of it go, but don't fret, I still have lots.

Insert [any colour] [pant or skirt or bottom] here. The last time I wore this DVF top and Fluevog shoe combo, I wore purple leather.

I think I saw 5 or 6 people today - but I was still busy.

I was fearful that these shoes would destroy my feet, but they were great - I did a shipment of big boxes and a few flights of stairs in them.
