Woo! August! This is a very busy month for us socially, so I have a lot of fun outfits planned! Starting with...June 2011 - they were $18.00 at Dots. They're by Noa Noa. Yes, they feel like pajamas!
Edit: just to be clear: these are NOT actually pajama pants. They are trouser-cut, with a fly and button. They're properly constructed (no elastic waistband), just like a pair of dress pants. Except for the polka dots. That's distinctly pajama-ish.
I last wore them in September 2011 (here). I found them challenging to style, so hopefully this month I'll be able to stretch myself creatively and make some fun outfits with them.
I really liked how this cherry-red silk blouse looked against the navy blue - I think it brings out the pink more than matching with a pink top as I've done previously.
here in May for $5.00. It's from the early 90s when washable silk blouses were all the rage (I had a black one back then, which I wore until it fell apart).
I've only worn these shoes once before: here (2nd outfit), for my birthday party last year, in October 2011. Eee! My birthday is coming!
The shoes are by Coach - I got them last September on final clearance at the Bay for $29.99, regular $169.99.
I love the gold slight crackle finish of the leather.
Check out the 90s vintage-y label.
Oh, and feathers.
Blouse (Elite International, thrifted), pants (Noa Noa), cami (Jackpot), shoes (Coach), ring (Wendy Brandes), other ring (Stone Flower), earrings (local).
The pajama pants are awesome!!ReplyDelete
I like the red top with the pajama bottoms. I wish I could wear PJ bottoms as pants..but being short and curvy, I just look clownish! On you...they're classy.ReplyDelete
Lol, my husband calls these my clown pants!Delete
Love these pants! So slinky. Your Coach shoes are really cool too.ReplyDelete
Sheila, those are beautiful pants, and I agree with Ianiza and Lisa above - they do look like pjs but you can pull this look off. That is definitely a sign of superior style :)ReplyDelete
I am in love with your feather earrings.
Those pants are always so chic. I love the red silk blouse with them. Navy blue is so underrated. Love the shoes, of course. Great deal.ReplyDelete
Great score on the shoes! Those "PJ bottoms" look like they feel heavenly on. I love your jewel tones too.ReplyDelete
Beautiful shoes! I really like the print on your pants too!ReplyDelete
Polka dot pants, swoon! I love these! I think they look fantastic on you! And great score on the Coach sandals!ReplyDelete
It's pretty amazing how you can do super comfortable and classy elegant at the same time. I think you found the perfect blouse for those pants.ReplyDelete
Love the shoes, Sheila. And I love polka dots! What else does anyone need? :)ReplyDelete
Dang girl, you look really fab in this outfit. I love it!ReplyDelete
