I took some inspiration from the lovely Patti's mixed greens and went all out:
Yes, I did get a few St. Patty's Day jokes, but it's all in good fun. This is my green cardi (last seen here), my green ruffle-front tux shirt (first seen here this month), this is my second wear of the green shiny lace skirt (last worn here, and NOT worn with nylons this time!), and yet another wear of the Kermit shoes (last worn here, 2nd outfit).
Kermit may not have had fun being green, but I am a fan.
I don't have a green belt (I know! Shocking!), so I made do with this skinny aqua one (the shoes have aqua stones on them - yay, matchy!). I'm also wearing yet another shade of green earrings.
Cardigan (Kersh, consignment), blouse (Esprit), skirt (Alfred Sung, vintage 80s, consignment), shoes (Poetic License), belt (Bianca Nygard), earrings (Shi Studios, gift from Sherylyn).
Shiela + green = gorgeousness!
ReplyDeleteoops, I spelled your name wrong because I was so enamored by the green. LOL
ReplyDeleteA great outfit inspired by an outfit I already loved! Yes! I love those shoes. They've really been more versatile than I'd ever imagined.
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand how people assume when you're wearing certain colors that you're trying to celebrate some holiday or make comments like that when you're wearing a color. Ah, the general public, may you always be crazy.
This is one of my fave outfits (of yours :) I actually like the touch of blue in with all the greens.
ReplyDeleteThe greens are nice but too many together today , a very pretty skirt. Oh well , may has not been the best capsule but I am always intrigued , it's a lot of fun seeing what you come up with. Donna
ReplyDeleteYou look smashing! I'm a huge fan of the skirt and the shoes...so why not put them together to create magic! Thanks again for the great shopping trip on Sunday. Sorry for the death allergies... So glad you found that fab skirt! xx
ReplyDeleteI love Kermie. You look smashing in green. That green skirt is a favourite. It was very brave of you to go without hosiery, though. What happened to spring? That tiny pop of aqua is perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove the greens together, the aqua belt is a really nice touch with it too :)
ReplyDeleteWow, such a pretty outfit!! :) I have never tried to use one colour in different shades but I might just do that as it looks stunning! Im really inspired by you! :)
ReplyDeleteIt *is* easy being green like this - you look fab, and I love the touches of aqua. When I read "Kermit shoes" I still have to giggle, can't help myself. : >
ReplyDeleteI love all the greens! So what if it's not St. Patty's Day, green is a great color year round! And also - at the end of the song Kermit realizes that green is a good color "I'm green, it'll do fine, it's beautiful and I think it's what I want to be." Sorry, big Muppet nerd over here. :) But seriously these greens work well together on you!
ReplyDeleteI am getting more and more fond of those shoes... to the point i think i need them.
ReplyDeleteyou have the best poses ever! You are always so sexy!
