Mar 9th - Outfit #8 - Put on Your Red Shoes and Dance the Blues

Happy Friday, everyone! I don't know about you, but I'm really happy that the weekend is here. I might have time for a nap tonight, before we go to the Art Gallery.

Today's outfit features all fresh capsule items:
Another dress, this Loft one that I've worn once previously here (3rd outfit down). This jacket is a Smoking Lily piece; I've had it since last April - I only paid $26 for it on consignment. I last wore it here. The gauzy skirt under the dress isn't a capsule piece; it's sheer all the way up, so I only ever wear it as a layering piece.

I love those tights. If I ever see another pair like that, I'm going to buy them.

I really love the good stretch this jacket has.
Totally comfortable to wear.

Today was a crazy day, but I had some nice moments on the fashion front: one of my coworkers gave me a nice compliment, as did the service guy for our shredder bins. I linked them both up, so hi, Sam and Sapili!

Didn't quite make the "new" pose this time.
Stand up straight, Sheila! Shoulders back!

Aren't the labels on this jacket lovely? They make me think of hearts.
My silly fabric flower.

The stuff:
Another pair of Fluevogs. These are my Teapot Senchas. I'm tickled that Megan over at The Fashionable Bureaucrat has the same ones in black

The stuff:
Simple dangly cheapy sparkly earrings and my Wendy B ring.

Have a great weekend!

Jacket (Smoking Lily, consignment), dress (Ann Taylor Loft, thrifted), underskirt (Noa Noa), shoes (Teapot Sencha Fluevogs), flower (Roberta's Hats), earrings (Jacob), ring (Wendy Brandes).

  1. Love all your smoking lily pieces. Is there a design on the back or silk screen on the inside?

I love the addition of the layered skirt. I hope I can get a couple more layered looks in before it gets too warm. Doesn't seem like much longer before spring will be in full swing.

Oh! Also you made me go look at my own poses. Apparently I've been subconsciously picking the same pose where I tilt one knee in and awkwardly do nothing with my hands. >.< Oi!

  8. Those tights. Those Fluevogs. Which I'd never heard of until you, Megan Mae, and The Dashing Eccentric. And which now I'll dream about - happily :)
