Oh, that was just me! I hope I didn't blind you!
This kurta tunic/dress appeals to me so much - the colour is so cheery and happy-making.
This is my favourite shade - of all the yellow this is the best. Colour Therapy is real!
Of course the linen/cotton material creased as the day went on, particularly at the elbows and lap (as I sit and type for most of the day).
You know, it's linen, it's gonna wrinkle. This doesn't bother me as much as it used to - pfft, whatever, wrinkles. I have them on my face too!
My colleagues loved the swooshy pants with the kurta, and I got big thumbs up over the overall colour palette.
I had easy access to my pockets.
Accoutrements and stuff:
These are one of my best Fluevog purchases of the last 5 years. One of these days I'll have to count how many times I've worn them.
- Silk scarf - Alexander McQueen, consignment
Citrus bling:
I smile when I look at all this colour.
- Necklace - Banana Republic, consignment
- Yellow cuff - thrifted
- Orange cuff/ring - Italian, vintage 60s, vintage mall
- Steel/Lucite ring - Calvin Klein, thrifted
- Earrings - thrifted
You positively exude “relaxed ray of sunshine” vibes! Yay!!!!readerrita
ReplyDeleteThat outfit has just made my day, Sheila! The swooshy pants and kurta are a perfect combo, and it's always a delight to see your "Jell-O shot" necklace! xxx
ReplyDeleteOoh what a sunny, fluid outfit...and those shoes work perfectly with it!
ReplyDeleteI'm embracing yellow more and more. It really is a happy colour isn't it.
ReplyDeleteThe trousers are a perfect coupling with the tunic! To my eye your ensemble is cheering and also soothing, a perfect combination! And of course, all the accessories, including the shoes, simply add to the coupling. I admire how you carry off the quantity of material in both pieces.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Laurie
What a superb outfit, the kurta an dthe trousers are a match made in Heaven! xxx
