Oh, these pants. They do not like the sideways stair pose.
Because I don't have time to take more than 2-3 pictures total in the morning, it was two "ugh" photos on the stairs, then a "screw it, I'm just sitting here for one."These are, of course, emerald green swooshy culottes, thrifted here a couple of weekends ago for all of $4.00.
You know, I kind of bought them on a lark - it's only 4 bucks, what the heck. But I loved wearing them all day. They were so comfy, and they swooshed like crazy when I walked. I can't wait to wear them again.
The jacket was featured twice in the November 2012 all -neutral capsule wardrobe (recap here). Today, I belted it with my shiny black skinny belt.
With trousers this long and full, I thought it was important to wear a heel and a fitted top to counteract the size of them.
I may have done the MC Hammer dance a couple of times....
Can't touch this |
The stuff:
My Versace rocker heels, my zipper rose, a couple of vintage rings and some funky earrings.
I realized after I took my pictures that I'd forgotten to put the green glass bracelet on, but I did wear it all day!
Jacket (Precis Petites, consignment), culottes (Jac Dale, vintage 70s, thrifted), shoes (Versace Jeans Couture, vintage sale), bracelet (thrifted), rings (vintage 80s), earrings (Fossil), brooch (Victoria & Albert Museum gift shop).
This just may be my ALL-TIME favorite of you most amazing wardrobe! Really, REALLY special, Sheila!
