Nov 16th - Outfit #15 - Grey Plaid and Pants

Thanks so much to Megan and Keely for hosting another fun fashion challenge! As always, I had a great time playing along.

Our last colour of the week is grey. Well, fortunately I'm doing a neutrals month and grey is one of my neutrals!
Wearing this dress as more of a tunic this time (last worn here as a top), over my skinny tux pants (last worn here on the weekend).

I liked how this worked over the slim pants.
The shoes are my uncomfortable Campers (last worn here with my wonderful suede dress). Yup, definitely going to get rid of these after this month.

I wore my Floating Gold Iceberg cuff today for the first time (picture here, and you can see a bit of it in the first picture), and I used its hidden storage function to hide my access pass for work, as I couldn't clip it to me and I loath lanyards. It was fun holding my wrist up to the scanners - like Star Trek or something!

Check out my crazy red legs - those are thick fishnet knee-highs I've had for aeons. They match my red lipstick.

Dress (Plum), trousers (handmade, thrifted), shoes (Camper), cuff (Floating Gold Iceberg), earrings (locally made).

Hope you all have a great weekend! My life is about to get seriously hectic with parties and events over the next 6 weeks - I'm pretty excited about December's glamourous capsule! Tune in on Sunday - I have some exciting news to share - it has to do with this day back in September. Ooh, I'm all mysterious!

Oh I think your poor feet are begging you to replace these shoes asap!

  2. Sheila,
Ok...after my last comment, I moved on to Kasmira's blog and saw your comment about replacing the top; I had to come back to your post and gently scold you just a tiny bit....Sheila,,,replace those shoes asap! Don't let your poor feet suffer another day! :)

  4. Sheila, what an awesome outfit! (I probably say that every post but it's true) I heart those fishnet knee-highs and plaid dress. I tried a Sheila-inspired double-fist-bling photo today - those are hard, kudos! - and I await your mysterious special Sunday suprise!

  6. There is just something about that dress that I love; it's so versatile! The addition of red fishnet knee-highs is just the right touch too.

    Have a great weekend!

  7. I tend to fixate on items that appeal strongly to me (and yet are almost invisible to others). I can't stop admiring your fishnets. I want to write odes to them.

  8. Hmmm... does it have something to do with painting? Sigh, I'll be back tomorrow morning. Until then... suspense!

  10. I know I know! I think. But I will keep it secret squirrel :-)

Great oufit, the dress has such an interesting cut. i am still sad that your Campers are uncomfortable, but I only wear their flat styles, not the heels ...

  13. Ewwwwww, cannot wait to find out what's up and see the December line-up! I love your gray plaid. I have a newfound love affair with gray! It's a great color and can go totally casually or very, very dressy!

  14. I love that top. Dress. Tunic. Whatever it is. It looked great last time you wore it and it looks great this time. And the cuff with a secret pocket! That gives me all sorts of nefarious ideas...
