Nov 15th - Outfit #14 - A Touch of Mustard (and a Bit of Pumpkin)

Yee haw! I am caught up on the challenge now, with a bit of mustard in my outfit. Also, because my "Pumpkin Pie" shoes weren't really pumpkin-coloured, I managed to work a bit of real pumpkin in there too.
Again, as with the other outfits in the challenge, the colours are added to my neutral base via accessories, in this case, with the mustard cami (not part of my overall 30 for 30 for 12 Challenge), the scarf (in my hair) and the belt.

The rest of this is pretty simple. Olive cardigan and thigh-high olive boots (both 2nd outfit, first worn here with acid wash!), and my brown wool maxi (last worn here). I'd originally planned to hike the skirt up into a strapless dress and wear the cardi over that, but I ended up liking the extra colour of the mustard cami.
The boots were pretty much invisible all day, but they gave me a nice extra warmth.

The lovely scarf, which blended into my hair.
I really adore autumn colours! The olive, pumpkin, mustard and rust in the scarf really pulled it all together.

I had lots of compliments on my necklace today.

Cardigan (Press), cami (InWear), skirt (Animale, consignment), boots (Pegabo), belt (thrifted), necklace (gift from Mom), scarf (Remoy D'Urville, vintage 70s), jade ring (Mom's, vintage 70s), spinner ring (Twang & Pearl), crystal ring (vintage).

  11. The necklace of 'swallows' looks so spectacular on your neck. You look so good in long skirts and I get swallowed up by them even though we are around the same height-- go figure. Anyways I agree with you fall colors are my faves too.

  13. Very very nice Sheila. The scarf looks great. I have a similar one and am tempted to try it in my hair now.

And what a necklace. It fos the space between cami and your neck perfectly. Well done to your Mum!
