In keeping with the Wonder Woman theme for August (don't forget!), I did a ton of bracelets to deflect the bullets of negativity!
I also wanted to get another wear of these shoes in before I pack them away:
They just don't work with nylons or tights (or socks), so they are strictly bare-leg/toes wear. I haven't worn them a lot, so they are still in really good condition, even though I've had them for around 4-5 years now. Previous wearings here, here, here, here, here, and here. Yup, looks like I've worn them twice a year.
One risk with an armload of bracelets is the racket you make. I irritated my co-workers (sorry, guys!) until I figured out that I had a Bad Bangle in the mix. It's the one on the right:

It's hollow, so it really made a lot of noise against the other ones. Once I slipped it onto the other side of the cuff, it was fine and I was a lot less jangly.
Dress (Smoking Lily, consignment), cami (InWear), shoes (Franco Sarto), cuff (Club Monaco), brass and brown bangles (Aldo Accessories), ivory bangles (some import shop).
I love this dress everytime you wear it! I wanna call it your "comic book" dress because The dots remind me of comic book print shading!
ReplyDeleteYour dress and shoes are spectacular! Great outfit, even if it was noisy. :)
ReplyDeleteI had some bangles doing that the other day too. I finally just ook them off while I was at the office. And I totally meant to take a WW pose while I was wearing them but I forgot. Darn it!
ReplyDeleteAs always, a gorgeous outfit and the shoes are just divine.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable. I love everything you paired with it....It all goes together so nicely~ The dress is very flattering as well~ Love Heather
ReplyDeleteI love the pop of yellow cami with this dress!
ReplyDeleteThe Bad Bangle'. that cracks me up - it's like the title of a children's book for two and a half year old's that already have 'their own ideas about how to dress'. too much!
ReplyDeletegreat outfit! i like that pop of color with the cami at the neckline.
I like your bracelets. They add character to the outfit.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I tried on a bunch, their noisy jangling surprised me. Now I like the sound -- for the same reason I like the clicking of heels on a wooden floor.
Megan, I love that! It's totally like comics.
ReplyDeleteFaith, thank you so much.
Maubrey, your blog's pop-ups annoyed the hell out of me. I won't be back.
Tina, yeah, they can be annoying.
Wendy, thank you!
Heather, thanks.
Thanks, Kelly!
Steph, yes, it would make a great kids' book title. Thanks!
Thanks, sb! You get used to the sounds that your clothes make (and some shoes are really noisy).
