When I go shopping, I never have a problem findind skirts or dresses, but tops? I have a really tough time because I'm small-boned but booby. I especially hate button-up tops because they usually gape. And since 80% of my shopping is second-hand, consignment or thrift, and I don't buy online, I am limited to what I can find.
Last weekend, I focussed on tops and found 3, one of which was the green silk top I wore on Tuesday. This is another one:
I've seen plaid making a comeback (hello, grunge!), and while I'm not going to wear a lumberjacket (ever!), I do love the nice Canadian look of a strong check plaid shirt. I love the double row of flat ruffles down the front of this one - I usually can't wear ruffled-front shirts due to the aforementioned boobular action.
And this was only $16! Not too shabby. The shorts are ones I picked up last year, I think.
I kept everything really simple since it was a smokin' hot 30 degrees again today.
Have a fabulous weekend, everyone!
