OK. Why did "Livin' on a Prayer" just start running through my head? It was like a Pavlovian response to the acid wash and the snakeskin. The whole ensemble is pretty awesome, though.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shoes! The band around the ankle is a great detail.
ReplyDeleteI love the acid wash, it gives the skirt an interesting oomph.
Arg, I'm behind on your post. Yesterday's outfit was so pretty. Yes, pretty and happy. Maybe it was the red lipstick. I smiled when I saw it.
ReplyDeleteToday's outfit was rockin'! Dude, only you can pull off an acid wash skirt. Yes, only you.
Add another arg to your awesome shoes. Do your shoes have their own room?
hahaha just read what Cynthia said. I was thinking LoverBoy
ReplyDeleteNice! Fantastic shoes :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, now I've got Living on a Prayer stuck in my head, thanks to Cynthia! Love the skirt!
ReplyDeleteIt's simple, but very cute. I can't picture you NOT in acid wash now! :)
ReplyDeletelooking good!!! nice balance with the lengths of the vest and skirt- both hit your frame in a flattering way. Shoes-LOVE them.
ReplyDeleteRock on, woman! And acid wash is totally back - isn't it? I just saw a woman at the mall wearing acid wash jeggings. (p.s. I support your choices more than hers.)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've got glam rock on the brain after reading all these comments.
Love the textures in this outfit! Those shoes are amazing.
ReplyDeleteso very nice! it's a bummer that certain 'washes' of denim go in and out of style. a lot of the lighter versions can be much easier for paler people to wear.
ReplyDeleteand i'm glad i'm not the only one who gets compliments from those living on the edge! some of the most style- and fashion-conscious remarks i've received over the years have been from guys living on the streets. and i think we should be flattered - being out and about all day i'm sure they see everything!
Sex-ay '80s flashback!
ReplyDeleteI really like the beading on the skirt. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteHa, Cynthia, that's hilarious! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Megan!
Beverly, it's okay, I'm usually behind. Only me, eh? Ooh, Loverboy, there's a blast from the past!
Stylestance, thank you!
Audi, oh no! Thanks!
Thanks, Kristen!
Thanks, Alecia! yes, I'm loving the shoes now.
Thanks, A-Dubs! Sure it is...
Thanks, Rad!
ReplyDeleteSteph, thank you. I was never a fan of acid wash back in the day, but I like it on this particular skirt. You're right about the pale thing! Ha, yes, I think that the "man on the street" (literally) has seen it all.
Thanks, Wendy!
Thanks, Natasha!
Frack, I'm glad you got those shoes! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, Ruth. :)
