Black and White and Red - Patterns-a-Gogo

I love mixing patterns and textures - I'm pretty new at the pattern mixing, though, so I'm sticking to "safe" colours, like these:
The jacket has a tone-on-tone polka dot pattern, the blouse is sort of a paisley, the skirt is of course houndstooth, and the hose are micro-fishnets. Woo!

The stuff:
A nice close-up of the blouse pattern - I got the blouse last week while out shopping with Cat. My old red shoes, red belt, Grandma J's necklace, a funky silver and red ring, and my white dangly earrings. It seems like a lot of red, but I like it with the black and white.

Jacket (Jacob suit, consignment), blouse (Talbot's, consignment), skirt (Nygard Petites, consignment), belt (Plum), shoes (Nine West), earrings (Gracie Rose), ring (Mexican, Oscar & Libby's), necklace (vintage 50s?, Grandma J).

  8. Thanks so much, Kristen! I will change it up in the next outfit, but it's sleeveless, so not likely to have it without a jacket for a few months.
