Off Sick - but I'm back!

I wasn't feeling too hot on Monday night, and woke up with a full-blown cold on Tuesday morning. Lots of people who were at our party also ended up sick this week (arm-wrestling...who'd have thunk it? Ha!), and L was no exception. We moaned and groaned all day yesterday, and mostly slept a lot. Feeling better today - not H1N1, thank goodness.

This is the outfit I was going to wear Tuesday...and Wednesday:
I love purple - this jacket is so awesome, but it's really limited because it only looks good done up because of the angled double-breasted cut. The high neck means I just wear a plain top underneath.

The stuff:
Of course, I had to do purple shoes!

    Glad you're feeling better! I love the velvet jacket - I have a long purple jacket too and can never figure out how to style it!
    And how is it that you have purple shoes?! You must have a fabulous collection.

    Glad you are on the upswing, I was starting to get worried! Joel got sick too. So far, I've been spared...all the alcohol must have killed the germs, ha!

    So glad you're feeling better! Being sick is the pits. My roomie is coming down with something...I better stay away lest I want to be sick on my glorious week off of work. Love your shoes (of course)

    Thanks, Emma! I love purple and velvet. Oh, I've had many pairs of purple shoes over the years (boots too!) - you just have to watch for them. I have about 70 pairs of shoes. Glad you liked the magazine idea!
