Confusing Coral Jammy Dress

Whoosh! It's a windy Monday.
So many dresses...it's time to wear this lovely coral Jammy Dress.

  • Dress - Cos, consignment; last worn here in July 2022 with the same necklace and shoes!
  • Sandals - Lucky Brand; last seen here in June with purple and purple tigers
  • Jacket (below) - Smoking Lily; last worn here in April for a Mom-Day Adventure

My colleague Camille was confused over the colour. Is it red? Orange? We settled on coral. 
What's more important is that it has massive pockets! And that bell skirt! 

Your eyes do not deceive, it's lower in the back. 
It slightly hobbles me from taking my usual long strides, but for such a cool dress, I make exceptions. 

The fabric is cotton and silk, with a cotton lining. 
I have a full vintage slip on underneath for its magical smoothing properties. 

Incognito.
It was cloudy and cool in the morning. I didn't need the jacket at all on the way home. 


The stuff: 
My favourite summer sandals...for now. I did my toes turquoise to match this outfit. 

Mixed bling:
I lost another "seed" on this necklace, and it ripped out all of the hair on the back of my neck. Into the giveaway bag you go, Evil Necklace!

    I’ve yet to make up my mind with this dress. The color (coral, yes!) and shape (yes!) and interest factor (yes!) BUT I’ve yet to acclimate to hemlines that are longer in back and shorter in front. Nonetheless, the dress looks stunning on you. You have a knack of knowing how to wear clothing, how to bring out the best of an outfit.

    Turquoise, yay! Karen’s ring and your earrings are simply spot on!

    It is a beautiful dress on you! I really like coral, it's such a cheerful colour! So sorry to hear about the evil necklace though! It looks pretty, and I really like it with the dress, but it definitely sounds like one that shouldn't be worn by you anymore, as it causes trouble!
