I wear Jammy Dresses when I don't feel like making much effort.
- Dress - Cos, consignment; last worn here in November 2021 with green velvet
- Sandals - Lucky Brand; last seen here in August 2021 with my lettuce dress
But they have maximum impact!
Isn't this a cool dress? I love the enormous deep pockets. Building colleague Emily was very taken with the shape and structure.
We both agreed that this is coral, although it does have elements of pink, red and orange. Mix 'em all together, and you get coral.

ReplyDeleteThat's the magic of a Jammy Dress, Sam!
DeleteYour blog is a recent and welcome find for me. I have enjoyed looking back through your archive at past outfits and wonderful clothing finds. Your Fluevog shoe collection is a wonder unto itself. I have delighted in your thrift find treasures, appreciated your knowledge of design and construction details, and felt the joy you so evidently express in your thoughtful photos of your daily outfits. It is a joy to dress up and you do it so well. Many thanks for it all!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for commenting, Susan! What a very kind and considered comment it is, too. I'm so glad you enjoy my blog!
DeleteThe colour and shape of that dress are absolutely stunning, Sheila, and yay for jammy dresses for effortless dressing with maximum impact!
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing that scarf, no wonder you reach for it so often.
The ginormous necklace is a stunner too, and snake print sandals are on my must have list! xxx
It's such a cool dress - I love the unusual construction, Ann.
DeleteYou know a scarf is a winner when you reach for it often.

Thanks so much, Kezzie!
DeleteI like the bell shape. Too many dresses have boring hemlines. And nice color.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I am limited to shorter strides in this, though.
DeleteI definitely got the jammy dress inspiration from you - you have such awesome ones that really look so stylish! :) Missing warmer days when I could just throw on a dress and call it done, haha! Have been living in jeans instead this winter!
ReplyDeleteJammy dresses layer really well with scarves, long-sleeved tops and leggings, Mica! See if you can winterize some of your fall/spring ones?
DeleteTotally in love with this dress, so fantastic shape and colour!, looking gorgeous!.
ReplyDeleteAlways admiring all your jammy dresses and totally agree about a ginormous necklace! yay!
besos
I love bigass necklaces! Thank you, Monica!
DeleteBeautiful, just beautiful. The dress, the shoes, the necklace. Well done Sheila.
