Orange, Pink, Purple and Patterns

I was tired last night and didn't feel like making much of an effort in my outfit planning. What are ya gonna do?
Wear a dress!

  • Burnt orange dress - no label, thrifted; first worn here (2nd outfit) to meet John Fluevog in September
  • Shoes - Entrance, Room 502, Fluevog; last seen here when I was a purple fairy in March
  • Coat (below) - BCBG Max Azria, thrifted; last worn here in April with Big Boss Lady Pants

Today was a "white" day - mostly overcast, but bright. The faint clouds were tinged pink, as the morning sun hit the Castle.
The trees in my 'hood are all shades from yellow, to orange, to red. So pretty!

Although I wore this dress in the spring/summer season, I think it might be an all-year one.
The burnt orange colour is squarely autumnal.

Aren't the tights fun? I've worn them with these shoes before (with my PANK dress here).
I have no idea if patterned tights are in right now (probably not) but I don't care.

This is me not caring, and feeling fabulous.
Such an easy outfit!

I like jazzing up my outerwear outfit. This coat doesn't get worn too often, as it's just a cloth coat with a thin cotton edging and yoke.
It also has short sleeves, so those are my dress' sleeves hanging out.

With my new-to-me scarf on - doesn't it match perfectly?
Another fun pink, orange and purple pattern. It was super soft and snuggly.

  • Beret - consignment
  • Scarf - V. Fraas, thrifted; purchase here on the weekend for $5.95
  • Leather gloves - Danier

The stuff:
I feel like Prince when I wear these shoes. They are perfectly balanced and very comfy to wear.

Multicoloured bling:
And the necklace matched too! My matchy-matchy heart was happy.

  • Necklace - thrifted
  • Earrings - Plum
  • Amber ring - c. 1996
  • Gold/amethyst ring - Frances Jewelers, c. 1965, Dad's

  3. Yay for no energy and low effort days, as those are the days we can wear our jammy dresses! And what a delightful one this is. The shape and colour are both perfect. And how brilliant do those patterned tights, colourful necklace and purple shoes are with it. I'm pretty sure patterned tights must be a thing, as I've bought a pair of floral one in a retail shop yesterday! xxx
