Small-ass Weekend Wrap-Up: Silk Pants and Lace Duster

After the flurry of a Friday I had, the rest of my weekend was anticlimactic. On Saturday, L and I went for lunch.
Neither of us had any inclination to do much else, so we came home after and lazed about (napping, reading, listening to music) for the rest of the day.

  • Duster - Lysse; last seen here (3rd outfit) in May for a long weekend gather
  • T-shirt - Banana Republic, thrifted; last worn here (2nd outfit) to Powell River for Christmas in December 2018
  • Silk pants - Pinkerton, consignment; last seen here (3rd outfit) in August 2018 for another weekend gather (and with these same shoes)

All soft and easy things to wear for a slow stroll down to Pluto's for breakfast.

It was a lovely sunny day, so the duster did double duty as sunblock.

I'm a fan of these ginormous billowy silk pants.
I like the allover pattern, and the nice border at the hem.

Got my purse, ready to go.
We spent the afternoon reading (I also did my Saturday blog entry), and then had our friends Cat and Ross over for a rousing game of Arkham Horror, followed by a hilarious game of Cards Against Humanity.

I lounged around in this. The tee is really soft and the silk pants have a stretchy waist (and pockets!).
It's a nice change from my "house clothes".

The stuff:
Yes, I do have two pairs of pink shoes with white soles, what of it? Sometimes a girl needs these things. I adore these Wonders. That really is a wooden sole!

Stone bling:
Some of my summery favourites.

  • Bracelet - gift from L
  • Turquoise/silver ring - local
  • Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes
  • Earrings - Mangos

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, my friends! Thank you so much for stopping by!

  1. I love the kimono, I have a similar one but shorter and I often wish I'd picked the longer length instead! Sounds like a wonderfully relaxing day :)

  5. I like your small ass weekend wrap up outfit! The shoes go perfectly with those lovely billowy, silky pants and I just love the duster. I would call it a kimono but that's the beauty of a shared language; I knew exactly what I was going to see when I read the word before I had even seen the photo!

    Smashing bling.
