PANK and Purple Poser

Back to my first full week in...a while! Ugh, Mondays. There is nothing for it but to wear PANK.
One of my coworkers tried to call this fuchsia. Nuh-uh! It's so pink it's PANK. Look at that colour! That is very much what it's like in real life - thank you, new camera!

  • Dress - Essentiel Antwerp, consignment; last seen here in February with fringed boots
  • Shoes - Ioni Poser, Fluevog; purchased here for $149.00

I kept this dress out in my spring/summer wardrobe to wear on the "shoulder" seasons (early spring/late summer) with tights.

It's far too short to go bare-legged.

And it was windy today! I went to see the movie "Halston" (link here) after work, and walked home carrying groceries.
With all my bags and my dress riding up, I was very happy to have tights on. I also have a short black mini half-slip.

Yeah, Monday.
This is just an excuse to wear a ginormous PANK dress and be quiet. The dress is loud enough.

The stuff:
These are probably fall/winter shoes (yes, that is wool), but I wanted to sneak in a wearing of them before it gets too warm. They were lovely all day, although the sole is slippy.

Sparkly bling:
I like all the random colours in that necklace.

  • Necklace - thrifted
  • Earrings - Reiss, vintage 60s, vintage fair
  • Amber ring - c. 1996
  • Amethyst/gold ring - Frances Jewelers, c. 1965, Dad's

  1. Wouldn't it be great to have short weeks all the time? But you did look ready to tackle Monday, whatever it would bring. Your fabulous PANK dress would have been enough to do the trick, but adding those groovy tights and your new shoes make it the ultimate Monday outfit! xxx

    2. Finally got an advantage over Canada. You have your splendid second-hand shops, I have Essentiel. (Still think you have the best deal though).

    3. You do! I think I would die if I went into an Essentiel shop (at least, my Visa card would explode!).

  7. I think the heads of the folks I work with would explode if I wore that dress to the office; they are so used to seeing me in black and grey, that would shock the heck out of them! PANK is where it's at!!
