Monday Pajamas and Hiding Kitty

Along with getting my de Castelbajac jumpsuit hemmed, I also took in my pink satin pants for shortening.
Jammy pants call for a jammy jacket! And pajamas for Monday? Totally needed.

  • Jacket - H&M, consignment; last worn here in September 2018 with houndstooth
  • Top - VanessaVirginia, thrifted; last seen here (4th outfit) in March, under a leather dress
  • Pants - H&M, consignment, Vancouver; first worn here in April with rust
  • Shoes - Zara, consignment, Vancouver; first worn here in April with circles and squares

I'm happier with these pants being "ground length" so that I can wear flats and low heels with them.
I fussed with my top today - this lace top was the right colour, but didn't sit right under the jacket.

I do love the jacket, though.
And I felt like I should be lounging about instead of working.

One more day.
I am taking some time off this week to spend with L, for his birthday (which is officially today).

Come on, put on a fake smile.
 There ya go.

The stuff:
I liked the blue shoes with these pants. They appealed to me more this time 'round.

Blue bling:
 Simple stuff.

  • Belt - Lady Foot Locker, thrifted
  • Earrings - 10th anniversary gift from L
  • Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes

As L was sleeping when I left, and Vizzini wasn't curled up with him, I hunted around looking for him - when I can't find him, he's up to no good.

But then I spotted an ear.
"Oh no, not again..."

He was hiding in his house!
"I was sleeping, actually."

I gave him some scritches on the head.
"That part was all right."

Off to make birthday spaghetti!

  2. Morning, Vizzini! looking very snuggly there - bit like our boys who went back to bed with Jon this morning as it's so wet outside!
Loving this outfit, you look like you should be in that Agatha Christie film, Evil Under The Sun, 1930s beach pyjamas with an updated vibe. Great idea to get the trousers shortened, can't be doing with tripping up on hems.
Hope L has a wonderful day! xxx

  3. I love how ell all of the colours in your outfit go together, even if the top was a pain to wear with the jacket!

  4. I'm swooning over your jammy outfit, Sheila. Those silk trousers look totally fabulous with the H&M jacket. Shame about the top, as it matches the jacket's piping perfectly. But I guess you can't win them all. Vizzini is looking like a proper lounge lizard in his leopard print house! Now, go and enjoy your time off. You deserve it, Sheila! xxx

  5. I love your jacket and the pants look great with it. I can see why you called the outfit 'jammies'! Those shoes are rather lush; you're all over satin today. Enjoy your time off and give Vizzini a scritch (and L!) from me.
