Just home from the periodontist, and my face is half-frozen and I need to lie down.
- Sweater - Dalkeith, vintage 60s, thrifted; last worn here (2nd outfit) in November 2018 with velvet and gold
- Skirt - Blind Faith, thrifted; purchased here for $19.99
- Shoes - Channi B; last seen here in October with different dragons and more velvet
- Coat (below) - Stop Staring!, thrifted; last worn here in December 2018
A pretty simple classic look. The solid colour of the top (matching the shoes, of course) focuses on the patterned skirt.
I do love the happy pill and the mouthful of freezing I get. Could not do it without!
Thinking about teeth.
Outerwear - the weather called for snow flurries mixed with rain. This coat is not warm enough.
- Fur boa - thrifted
- Gloves - Parkhurst
- Chain bracelet - thrifted
- Hematite bracelet and ring - thrifted
- Earrings - Glee
- Bug brooch - Le Chateau
My mom had to pick up my youngest niece, Sidney, from ballet(? I'm a little foggy on the details) class, and she wanted to peek in my closet.
And then with the velvet ball cap and the Yeti Coat.
Sidney is awesome! Genes tell!ReplyDelete
Isn't she a doll?Delete
You are clearly inspiring the next generation of dressers!ReplyDelete
Clearly! Ha ha!!Delete
Kid's got a good eye.ReplyDelete
Sometimes there's just nothing more fun than floofing down the stairs in a flouncy dress like a modern Scarlett O'Hara.
Yup, she went right for the furry things! I do love to flounce about - it makes one's day brighter.Delete
The dragon skirt looks absolutely perfect with the matching teal jumper and shoes! Love your bling too! Not so keen on the dentist, though. But your niece Sidney surely has what it takes! xxxReplyDelete
Thank you! No, dentist is not fun.Delete
How adorable is your niece in that fabulous closet of yours! Lol, glad you like the dentist, I think I need that happy pill. Love the skirt. Always good to summon a dragon ! Happy mid week!ReplyDelete
Isn't she cute? I like that my periodontist caters to my needs. I can handle it.Delete
Thanks, Elle, happy mid-week to you!
I love your skirt, hope your teeth calm down, and think your niece looks fab!!!ReplyDelete
Thank you, Becky. Me too!Delete
I'd love to go for a walk through your closet too! XReplyDelete
Ha, I would welcome you!Delete
Your nice has style my dear Sheila!ReplyDelete
and I can see why you want to wear the Star Trek sweater with the dragon skirt. It would make a perfect pairing.
She's a cutie. Yeah, I thought so too, but it didn't look right.Delete
Your niece has some mad stylin' skills! The sweater/skirt combo may be simple, but I really like this outfit. I love a skirt that billows when you walk. Hope your mouth feels better now!ReplyDelete
Wait till I teach her how to shop! Thanks, Shelley - billowing is always good. Much better now, thank you.Delete
love your dragon skirt, and I think you've worn a perfect ensemble to go to the dentist, feeling comfortable And fabulous is very important in this kind of situations!. Your shoes and accessories are absolutely lovely (as usual!!)ReplyDelete
And I love the pics of your nice trying on some of your clothes! so cute!
It's paramount for me. Going to the dentist is so stressful! My niece is such a cutie.Delete
