As I have a whack of outfits waiting in the wings to be worn, I have to plan them around the weather. Today it was chilly and rainy in the morning, so there was my chance to wear the teddy bear sweater.
- Top - H&M, consignment; purchased here for $15.00
- Skirt - Dries Van Noten, thrifted; last seen here (5th outfit) on the first day in the new office in February
- Shoes - Chie Mihara; last worn here in March with the best blue dress
- Coat (below) - Samuel Dong, thrifted; last seen here in March
I felt like I was wrapped in a fuzzy blanket all day. Several people petted me.
Every teddy bear needs a pirate skirt, yar.
Outerwear - by the time I walked home, it was sunny and warm. I carried the coat home in my bag.
- Hat - Edward Mann, vintage, thrifted
- Belt - Pringle of Scotland, vintage fair
- Bracelet - Lia Sophia, thrifted
- Earrings - Reiss, vintage 60s, vintage fair
- Amber ring - c. 1996
That's such a cosy looking knit, I can see why it got a lot of attention! It looks fantastic belted here with the skirt too! :)ReplyDelete
Isn't it? It is like wearing a fuzzy blanket. Thanks, Mica!Delete
I love your teddy bear top, it looks so good with the pirate skirt and those amazing Cruella De Vil heels! xxxReplyDelete
Thanks! I had fun with this outfit!Delete
Your fuzzy teddy bear top works really well with that amazing Dries Van Noten skirt. Can't keep my eyes of those shoes! They're fabulous! xxxReplyDelete
Thanks, Ann! Basic colours/neutrals, but anything-but-basic textures, patterns and materials!Delete
I love your outfit. A simple outfit made up of basics with a twist. Your top looks so comfy and cozy. I'm sure your kitty loves it.ReplyDelete
I have to let you know that I saw a pair of your beloved yellow Fluevogs last week while thrifting. The distinctive heel caught my eye and I thought "Those are Sheila's shoes," when I saw them. They were too bright for my taste, but I'm sure they will find a good home with someone who will love them as much as you do.
Thanks so much, Sandra! I keep Vizzini away from my clothes - he likes to chew/drool on things.Delete
Oh, how cool! I adore my yellow Shoes - I know exactly which ones you mean.
Cute shoes and coat!! I wanna rub the fuzzy soft top!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Becky! It's so soft!Delete
Love the textures on the sweater and belt together!ReplyDelete
Aw, thanks, Julia!Delete
I have to admit i was not sure about the Teddy top because i thought it would look bulky but I was so wrong.ReplyDelete
I know - it's one of those things you have to see on. Thanks, Lorena!Delete
What a good move to add that belt for definition. The skirt is very unusual too - makes for a unique combo!ReplyDelete
Thank you! I quite liked the two pieces together.Delete
I bet everyone wanted to snuggle you in that cozy top! I thought it would look bulky as well, but the belt makes all the difference.ReplyDelete
Vizzini did! Yes, I'm not usually a fan of overly bulky items, so belting worked really well.Delete
your teddybear top looks really cozy and you've styled it fabulously!, you're brilliant!ReplyDelete
And those shoes deserve every compliment they receive!
Thank you! I really loved how soft it was.Delete
