Dress Week Came From Outer Space! Grey Lace and Best Shoes Ever!

Dress Week continues!

All the dresses I'm wearing this week have one thing in common - can you guess what it is?
I adore this dress so much, so I had to wear it with my - yes, I'm making it official - my favourite shoes ever.
The dress was last worn here in January for about 2 hours total on a sick day. No one really saw it then, so I had to include it in a Dress Week!
It's easy to do a dress like this; you just pick a coloured belt (or black like I did last time), and match the shoe to it. I decided to go with grey-on-grey so that I could wear...

Best Shoes Ever!
I know! Swoon! I last wore them here in December 2013 with a backless dress.

Simple bling:
The dress' allover pattern means simple accessories. One of my favourite obis, plus my cool earrings and ring.

Dress (Banana Republic, thrifted), shoes (Poetic Licence), obi (Smoking Lily, consignment), ring (Wendy Brandes), earrings (vintage).

  7. Such a lovely dress. I am not generally drawn to grey but the wonderful fit and the lace make this dress a winner. And yes, they are truly excellent shoes! xxxx
