These are my oldest Fluevogs and I love them dearly. I hope they never, ever wear out. I got these about 5 years ago, when I was heavier than I am now (remember? I lost 50 lbs). They are one of the only things in my wardrobe that I still have from my "fat" days. Without further ado: I quite liked this outfit - usually I do these shoes with black and some other colour to pop off the black (like last time worn here), but this time I did more of a colour mix. This is the second wear of both the skirt (last seen here) and the cardigan (first worn here).

Those are one of my favs.,you totally rock them!
ReplyDeleteLove the Spinal Tap quote! I say it all the time to my real estate students (so many things in MN real estate go to 11), and only about 1/3 get it. Sigh. But you get it! Because you are awesome! And so are those shoes.
ReplyDeleteCan you remember how and when you first discovered fluevogs? I had not known about them before I started blogging.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, those are moll-worthy!
ReplyDeleteAmazing shoes!! And a brilliant ethnic mix! Congrats my dear! I love your outfits (except that now I wanna steal your shoes!). Kisses :)
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful shoes, I would have to put them on display somewhere!
ReplyDeleteThose Fluevogs are such a great retro look and color. Funny, I would never have considered pairing them with those colors and prints -- I would have stuck with solids -- but I love how they look with that outfit!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, you do have a number of Fluevogs. But they're such a cool shoe, how could you not? They're so very Sheila.
I do covet that pair! I have 8 pairs of Fluevogs, and I'm hoping to add a ninth when I make some publication progress here before too long.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the shoes!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am really impressed with your collection of Fleuvogs.
ReplyDeleteOhh I love those so much! They're so badass. The logical choice is to wear more Fluevogs, of course.
ReplyDeleteFabulous Fluevogs! (how many times have I said that now?) You have the best collection of 'Vogs that I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteAnd that skirt is to die for. You are DARING Spring to sproing~
Its so true--they do look gansta! But I LOVE them with the print red shirt--so unexpected. Paula
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is gorgeous!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if I'm gonna do the "raw" series as I only got 2 entries.
Should I ?
Your advise ?

( though I think I should do it to prove that being raw is beautiful and shame everyone else for not doing it)

Like Terri, I had never heard of Fluevogs before reading your blog. And if I saw any, I didn't know it.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm dreaming of the day, feet healed so I walk like a human being, that I can get my very own Fluevogs.
If I can find them....
PS: I'm in lust with these ones!
Thanks, Ponchmor!
ReplyDeleteErin, hee, I use that quote all the time! Thanks!
Terri, I addressed this in today's post, just for you. :)
Wendy, totally!
Dimi, thanks! Ha, keep away from my shoes!
Lesa, thanks - they are displayed at eye level in my closet.
Kristen, I love them so much. Yeah, that's what I've been doing - I thought I would branch out! Hee, they are very 'me.' Thanks, darlin'!
Ray, ooh, nice, 8 pairs is a good collection. I love all your boots.
Alecia, thank you!
Rebecca, thanks!
Megan, I know, but my feet really need some lower heels for a bit!
Rita, thanks! Can one really say that too much? My daring is not working, grumble.
Paula, thank you!
Reva, if you don't want to, don't worry about it. :) If you do, then go for it!
'Doll, that's just a shame - the Minis are so you (the kind with the little scooped heels, very easy to walk in). Thanks!
That is such a pretty skirt.
ReplyDeleteNow, seriously you should be a spokesperson for Fluevog !
Thanks, Lorena! Hmmm...now there's a fun career!
