I had to keep my edge with the gladiators! This will likely be my last opportunity to wear this blouse without a sweater or jacket over it, and even today I was freezing when the A/C came on.
A close-up of the neckline, which I love.
This was I think $9.00 on clearance at one of my regular consignment stores. It's 100% silk. It isn't a brand I've ever heard of (Kaliko) but the sizing is UK/Euro. They carry a lot of girly stuff. Pretty!
Oooh, very pretty shirt. I can see why you got it.
ReplyDeleteI have to confess, I do not get the blogosphere's Fluevog love, but those are a fabulous pair. Elegant and yet edgy with all those straps! Nice.
Love those shoes!
ReplyDeleteFluevog... Fluevog.. I can´t stop saying it !
ReplyDeleteThese are hotttttt! and you look great :)
I love the frilly shirt with the "tough" shoes. Of course, anything goes with pencil skirt. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I'm late, but your home renovation is awesome! Thanks for sharing the before, during, and after photos. Home renos are very difficult but, boy, what a difference.
Your cats seem to approve. Thatw as the whole point of it all, wasn't it? ;)
I need to post today's Fluevogs for your Guest Shoe!!!
ReplyDeleteI need to go try on some Fluevogs! Everyone has such nice ones. I haven't tried that brand since the '80s, I think!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristen. Fluevog is an acquired taste - I am not a huge fan of some of the chunkier styles. I like my shoes more on the delicate, girly side.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Imogen! And welcome - thank you for commenting.
Alison, thanks! I am so glad I got one fab pair of gladiators - these really meet all my needs for them. They look awesome with tights for autumn.
Lorena, you're hilarious. Thanks!
Thanks, Zazzu! I agree - love a pencil skirt. Thanks so much for your comments on the renos - and yes, we were just making the house better for them, hah!
Ruth, well, get on that! Nothing is stopping you but you. Take a picture and send me a blurb.
Wendy, you sure do! They have your name all over them. I loved them in the 80s, but they have lots more styles now.
What a pretty top! And those shoes are killer!
ReplyDeleteThanks, FashionAddict!
