My favourite tweed skirt, newish long cardi, and my good ol' red accessories. Not terribly exciting, but it's Monday after all.
The stuff:
These shoes are one of my few pre-weight-loss items that I still have. And I haven't worn this bracelet since I got it for my birthday - shameful!
Cardigan (Express, thrifted), cami (InWear), skirt (Kensie), belt (Plum), shoes (Nine West), earrings (don't recall), bracelet (gift from Mom).
Nothing wrong with an already planned outfit. Especially on a Monday when I have a hard time getting out of bed. Those little touches of red, must have given you a little boost for the day ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad that bracelet is getting some use - it's such a fun piece!
ReplyDeleteI love the belted long cardi and skirt combo...looks fab! And I wish I could wear tweed more often...but unfortunately, I would prob sweat to pieces in about 5 seconds. Oh well, like I said, you look great!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila,
ReplyDeleteLooking at the time (clock behind) if it´s 6 AM you must be proud to look so well put together...at that time I am practically comatose.
I like the bracelet.. is it slinky-like ?
Thank for stopping by :)
I'm glad you busted out the bracelet b/c it's quite unique and fab.
ReplyDeleteHey Sheila,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the computer advice, it worked. I also love the long cardi, I have one too, going to try to belt it-thanks for the idea!
Sher, you are so right. I did love the bits of red - my favourite colour!
ReplyDeleteSal, I guess it is a cool piece. Thanks!
Alison, thanks! Hey, happy birthday!
watergirl, thank you so much. I am very grateful to have distinct seasons, just for variety.
Lorena, it's actually 6 PM - I walk to and from work in my shorts and t-shirt and then I change back into my clothes to take my picture when I get home. That's why my hair is fuzzy! Compare to a Friday picture, which *is* taken in the morning. Yes, the bracelet is sort of slinky - the black part is rubber.
Tina, thanks!
Lesa, oh, I'm so glad! Thanks very much - I find if I don't belt a long cardi, I look like a jelly bean with legs.
I love the colors. The red is a great touch!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hillary!
