Nov 13th - Outfit #12 - A Touch of Teal

Well, I wasn't going to do it, considering I'm all in neutrals, but I can always throw a little colour into an outfit!
I'm a day behind, so I'm doing teal legs.
The tights are way too bright in that picture!
Another "fresh" item, unworn so far in this month's capsule, this cream and black embroidered sweater makes its debut. I got this sweater in November 2011 on my shopping trip to Value Village with Leslie aka Hostess of the Humble Bungalow. It was $14.99 and is by Attitude.

I first wore it here, with last month's tweed skirt and some lacy black nylons. I last wore it here (ha, for another of Megan and Keely's challenges!) in January, with ruffles and layers and chartreuse, oh my!
This is a more accurate picture of the tights for colour
Another wear of my lovely black leather skirt, last worn here on the first weekend of November with these same shoes. I love wearing leather. I'm also wearing my little beetle pin.

Sweater (Attitude, thrifted), skirt (Danier Leather, consignment), shoes (Tsubos), pin (Le Chateau), earrings (The Cobbler), cuff (St. Paul's Cathedral Gift Shop).

On the weekend, I bought Vizzini a little soft kitty bed. He likes smushy things that he can make lovey paws on, and he loves to have enclosure on all sides.
Aw, such cuteness.

  3. He's so cute in that kitty bed. My cats have a basket that they have taken over, since they also like enclosed spaces.

  4. Ooh, great leather skirt! One of my looking-for items for sure. Lovely coloured tights, and I remember that beetle from last post, nice! And I am so glad I'm not the only Fashion-Challenge latenik!

    P.S. WHO's-a-comfy-kitty-who's-a-who?!

  5. Still haven't found (by which I mean, thrifted) a black leather pencil skirt, but I'm on the hunt, and this outfit makes me more determined to track that sucker down.

I think I could probably participate in any colour challenge in the world with my tights collection. Why can I not resist a colour I don't already have?

  11. So that's how you do teal legs! Duly noted. I love that sweater more everytime I see it.

I bought Sasha Jane a bed just like that recently. But she likes to sleep on people beds :P

  12. I really like the cardigan. It's really more like a top since you don't need to wear anything underneath it.

Oh Vizzini, you're the cutest cat on the west coast!

  13. Hooray for bright tights and leather skirts! Looks great together, and it adds a good punch of color to your neutrals.

Hee! Vizzini looks so happy in his squishy bed. Our kitties will sleep anywhere, except cat beds. Mom has taken to laying 'drop blankets' around for them to sleep on.
