Boom! Big Pink Boss Lady Pants! Just for you.

Not that I ever need an excuse to wear these stupendous pink pants - they are the acme of Perfect Pink Boss Pants.
I wanted an outfit to feature the new-to-me belt too - and these trousers have a high waist.
From there, it was just a matter of picking a top, jacket and shoes.
This velvet blazer keeps making the cut - it's a silk/cotton blend. So soft.
Masked up.
More leopard! Outerwear - I hope this coat is appropriately swoon-worthy for you, Sam.
It is the Pinnacle of Leopard Coats. Remember, kids, Always Be Upgrading!

Snaky stuff:
Much-missed coworker Fiona was in the office today, and was MUCH impressed that I had matched my belt, bracelet and earrings.

- Belt - Rodier, vintage 80s, thrifted; purchased here for $4.95
- Gold coil cuff - Whiting & Davis, vintage 80s, vintage fair
- Silver ring - BC Museum Gift Shop, 1986
- Earrings - Red Sky
When I pointed out the ring, she gasped. I always go to 11.
And finally, if the plain leopard coat didn't cause a fit of the vapours, perhaps I can persuade you with the red satin lining? I had zero Velvet Rage with this coat over the blazer - now that's how you know you have a quality coat!
I'm also throwing in my brown and pink floral Doc Martens (consignment, last worn here in January on the blog), and a pair of shades (Incognito Mode), to keep it real - I wear them to walk to and from work if there's no rain in the forecast.
Have a wonderful weekend, my friends. I'll be back on Sunday with tales of adventure!
This is one bad-ass boss-lady sophisticated outfit! Sam was spot on in her suggestion and I marvel at the versatility of the pants depending upon how you choose to style them with different tops, shoes and accessories. I wouldn't have thought that bold pink pants could have multiple "personalities" but, then again, that was before I met you online!
ReplyDeleteI'm playing my own "game" with your reader-suggested outfits, which is trying to imagine myself wearing them. So far I am two for two. :-)
Happy Weekend!
PS Are there any commenters from the NY Metro area? If so, might you suggest some second-hand clothing stores?
I so agree, Laurie - my Boss Pants are one of the best pairs of pants I've ever owned, and love that Sam thought of them right away. They are far more versatile than I ever thought a pair of pink pants could be!
DeleteHow fun! Glad you are playing along. :)
I don't think I have anyone who's a regular from Metro NY.
You perfected your boss lady pants! The coats a winner too. I have vision's of my office days swooping in, channeling you, looking sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteI loved both of your suggestions, Sam, so thank you! Glad you approved of the outfit, and love your vision!
DeleteThose trousers are THE BEST. Hands down.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYes!! I swoon over your coats as well. This is a particularly terrific one!
ReplyDeleteIt really is - thanks so much!
DeleteSam was so right to request your big boss lady pants, and this may well be my favourite incarnation of them. I can't get over how well pink works with leopard! You've got the best collection of coats, and this one certainly isn't an exception. And the red satin lining makes it even more swoon-worthy! Love the pink and brown floral Doc Martens too! I hope you're having a great weekend, my friend. Mine started only today - Saturday - instead of Friday, which is a bit weird! xxx
ReplyDeleteI like so many of the outfits with them - they've been shockingly versatile. I love leopard with pretty much any colour - pink? Why not! I adore this coat - it's so gorgeous.
DeleteOh no, that must have been tough! Hope you had a good one!
Those pink lady boss pants are fabulous and you wear them so well. I love the combination of pink with leopard, so fresh and unexpected.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Ivana! I love leopard with anything!
DeleteI love pink and leopard together and this is such a wonderful example of it Sheila! You really rock those pants and you do put a lot of effort into your accessories - it's incredible you have so many matching pieces! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Mica! I seek out matching pieces - I'm getting quite the snake collection now, ha ha!
DeleteOh yes, I think those are my favourite trousers on you! And a leopard coat! I bought one last winter, but it's thin, can't wait to wear it. Enjoy your Sunday!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Nancy, thanks! Ooh, I'm excited to see your leopard coat! Thank you!
DeleteI love these pink Boss Lady trousers on you, well done to Sam for requesting them! The pink looks fantastic with the leopard print! xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Vix! I loved this combo.
DeleteI absolutely love, love this outfit! Something about the belt just makes it perfect as does the pink with the leopard and the brown. Wow is all I can say - this outfit is definitely an "11". I am amazed at how your glasses always work so well into your coordination.
ReplyDeleteI like the little bits of white from the belt and the earrings, thank you, Robyn.
DeleteI chose this pinky-red pair of glasses so that it would go with the most things in my wardrobe - I appreciate that you noticed. :)
I really love the floral docs! I think they go so well with the outfit!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty sweet, aren't they? Thanks, Laura!
DeleteSsssss-ensational ensemble! :D My snakie adoring heart leapt with joy to see your awesome new belt in action already. It really is a work of wearable art and such a terrific ode to one of the earth's most unique (and, IMO, wonderful) creatures.
