Eye On You and Bold Gold

I have so much new-to-me spring summer stuff waiting to be worn, but I'm still trying to get a few of my fall/winter garments worn. 
 I keep this wonderful dress out year-round, since I first bought it in 2010 (here in London).


  • Dress - Desigual; last worn here in August 2019 - a great look at the details of the dress there, including links to every time I've worn it
  • Netting underskirt - Noa Noa; last seen here in May 2018 under a navy bow dress
  • Shoes - Cardinals Super Fine, Fluevog; bought and debuted here last weekend
  • Jacket (below) - Gap, consignment; also bought and debuted here last weekend


This is my first and only wearing of this dress this season - I usually layer a shirt or blouse under it, but it somehow got missed until now. This is its 23rd wear!
 Added my navy blue sheer tiered underskirt to add visual length. I have a collection of floofy underskirts - they are very useful.

I've got my eye on you! My coworkers always enjoy this dress.
 And since the combination worked last Saturday night, I went bold gold again for my accessories and repeated everything but the earrings.

Is that a weekend I see?
My big closet swap-over is happening on Sunday, but on Saturday, my dear friend Yvonne is letting me clear out her closet to help her rediscover the joy in her clothes, and utilizing her wardrobe to its max. I'm so excited!

Rar! My claw cuff is coming after you.
I'll be keeping this jacket out for spring!

The stuff:
 These shoes were much loved in my office. They were wonderful to wear all day.

Scary bling:
I loved wearing these statement pieces that L bought me. They were a "Whoa!" kind of thing for some people. They are truly bold gold!

    It's hard to miss a dress like this, but with a closet full of colourful and funky clothes, I'm actually not that surprised ;-) The claw cuff and pendant, and those wonderful gold shoes, are perfect with it, as is the pank jacket. I bet you'll get to wear that a lot in Spring/Summer! How exciting that you'll helping your friend clear out her closet.       I know, I often ask myself how I miss these, Ann, but so many clothes - you know what I mean! I'm sure I'll wear that pank jacket a lot in spring/early fall.
