Spanish Ladies and the Blues

I had another outfit picked out to wear today, but it's another hot day (although windy), so I had to scramble this morning to find something more weather-appropriate. I did what I always do in that situation.
Wear a dress!

  • Dress - Lirub; last worn here in April
  • Shoes - Born, consignment; last seen here (3rd outfit) earlier this month for chillin' with my friends

Unimaginatively, I wore blue accessories with it. I usually do blue or red or yellow - they all work.
As always, I get tons of compliments on the dress whenever I wear it! I've had it for 5+ years, and it's still going strong.

The stuff:
Couldn't wear "real" shoes today. Just too hot, even in the office's air conditioning.

Blue bling:
I love this blue belt - such a classic shape.

  • Belt - Danier
  • Earrings - flea market
  • Lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes

Time for dinner!

  2. I love dresses for their instant outfit purposes too. They are wonderful when you need to get ready quickly, especially in warmer weather when you don't have to worry about layers :)

  4. One of my favourite dresses. Yup, just throw on a dress and you're ready. I liked the wind. I would like a little rain with it. (Did I just write that?!)

  6. Dresses are my favourite thing to wear in the summer too, and this one has such a fun print! I haven't been able to find very many dresses that are work-appropriate at the thrift stores this summer - lots of cheap rayon things with spaghetti straps.
