Shoe Shine is on!
Get your kicks by showing your kicks!
For this Shoe Shine, I'm sharing the green shoes in the Shoe Shine graphic rainbow. These are affectionately known as my Kermit shoes, as they are fuzzy green tweed with fuzzier polka dots.
Even the heels (which are such a cool shape) are fuzzy.
Add that pretty bit of ribbon and some teal crystals and you have a gorgeous little confection. I bought these at local store She She shoes for $90 new (they were 40% off), back before I started shopping second-hand/ethically only. I adore Poetic License's shoes - they are always a little off the beaten path. Just like me!
What shoes pull you off the beaten path?

I love your Kermit shoes! Although I want to turn one of the decorations around so it is opposite the other...reflecting if that makes sense. I am so blind I didn't notice your shoes made a rainbow until you pointed it out! I just liked the picture. How amazing to have so many shoes, you can make a rainbow! I thought I'd used all my shoes, but found this post with unshared shoes. They are living on my feet this winter. They go with everything but are quite difficult to put on and take off due to multiple fastenings. What is that about?! Happy Shoeshine no. 8 already! XO JJ
ReplyDeleteYes! It bugs me in a minuscule yet persistent way that the decorations should mirror each other. Glad I am not the only one!
DeleteFuzzy wuzzy shoes! So tempting to Miss Piggy on them, oh Kermie! Poetic License is a saved ebay search, but I'm waiting to try some on IRL and for the right pair to call to me - in the meantime I admire. Our dear MMD had captured-and-released this same Cydwoq style before they magically appeared in my size at a price I could risk, and they've become a favourite. Thanks for having us over to celebrate shoes, Sheila!
ReplyDeleteKermit! Now an honorary Shoe Shine honoree. Love these, and my husband leaned over my computer and said "Cool shoes!", too. xox
ReplyDeleteThey are the shoes that keep on giving! Besides the cool stuff you mentioned - fuzz, heels, ribbons and sparkles - the aubergine inside is such a delicious bonus! Kermit never looked that good.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I always get Poetic License and Irregular whats-its mixed up. Anyway, those are OTBT cutesters, like us! Thanks for letting us shoe off, Shelley.
ReplyDeleteoops, I mean Sheila. tsk tsk. And by the way, it's Irregular Choice.
DeleteOoo, Kermie shoes! They are adorable! XXX
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are too cute!!! I die. Then I may buy.
ReplyDeleteI automatically recognised them! The Kermit shoe is one I'd love to have in my closet, they're so unique.
