All right! It's late - I just got home from getting my hair cut (yes, faithful readers, I misspoke and thought I was getting it cut yesterday, but no!).
It doesn't look like that. Much more buzz-buzz.
I loved the pops of orange in my outfit today: the shoes, the belt and the lipstick (MAC Morange).
I was awakened by the sound of pounding rain - thank goodness, as the province of BC has been plagued by forest fires over the summer due to the extreme heat and dryness we've been having. I hope this will alleviate some of that. Anyway, the outfit I'd planned was too summery, and this one had been waiting in the wings for a week or so, so out it came today.
It's a dress! A lovely cobalt blue handmade vintage 70s dress, thrifted for all of $5.00. Gotta like that. I first wore it
here in June with predictable aqua.

After I took my pictures, I realized I'd forgotten to put my earrings on. And I forgot my Wendy Brandes rings! They would have been perfect. *facepalm*
Dress (vintage 70s, handmade, thrifted), belt (vintage 80s, thrifted), shoes (Big Presence Desmond, Fluevog), earrings (white gold, local).
I do the forget-the-jewelry-till-after-the-pictures too! Love this sassy color combination, and you look fab. xox

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you could pull out that little number on standby. Having the billed star go out of the commission is sometimes the only way those backups get any recognition at all. Yeah, this rain is Refreshing! Love it. In a couple of months I'm sure I'll misremember having written that. hee.
Now I'm all confused! Is THIS the new haircut? It still doesn't look different to me. But it looks great, so that's OK!
