Happy Friday! I'm going to be quick here - I'll be back on Sunday with my very Visible party outfit for tomorrow night (one of our friends is celebrating his divorce).
I picked up this dress on the weekend here.
here under my turquoise origami dress in June.
here in June for L's birthday loungeabout.
Dress (no label, consignment), skirt (no label, consignment), shoes (Two Lips, thrifted), belt (Dana Buchman, consignment), airplane cuff (Catalyst Leather), cogs cuff (SkinZnHydez), elasticated cuff (Hollyhawk Designs, thrifted), earrings (gift from L).
I went for a little browse in the WIN thrift store on the way home. No luck with any cool clothes, but I did well with finding some glassware.
The gold-trimmed pineapple glass goblet is from the 70s - here they are in the 1978 Indiana Glass Company catalogue. They're called "Golden Elegance". Nice. I paid $2.95 for this one.
Have a lovely weekend! Raise a glass of cheer!
Great score on those glasses...your dedication to wardrobe posts is truly amazing.ReplyDelete
Looking forward to our Seotember thrifting!
Love the denim dress over that ruffley skirt! :) Apparently ruffley is not a word, hopefully you know what I mean! :)ReplyDelete
I recently purchased a chambray dress and it's not as wearable as I thought it would be in the cooler weather, so I'm looking forward to getting some ideas from how you wear your denim dress!
You're in loafers! And looking cool with it. The ruffles really add to the outfit, and all the stuff is fab. Leather, hairy and gold! Have a lovely weekend...we're up to Saturday night already!xo JJReplyDelete
Great way to style a shirtdress - love the ruffles to offset the boyish shirt. Very nice wine glasses! xoxReplyDelete
I have goblets like that! I use them for jewelry and sewing pins. :-D I love your shirt over dress look, and those loafers look comfy and stylish.ReplyDelete
The shirt dress looks great layered over the ruffled skirt, what a good idea.ReplyDelete
Love the glass ware, I am a sucker for coloured glass too. xxx
I have a fabularse denim shirtdress I was given a few years ago-it makes a perfect light coat! Love denim, not that you would guess! I love the peek of petticoat here, and the meow belt!ReplyDelete
The pineapple glass goblet is divoon!
Great leather cuffs!ReplyDelete
I'd like to see you style it in the summer with cute sandals.
lovely layering and such a cool outfit!, that skirt under your chambray dress adds interest and a pretty shape (and comfort!)ReplyDelete
