Finally, the end of a rough week is over. I really knuckled down today and got a huge amount of work done, all while making exasperated noises in front of my co-workers. I'm a drama queen, but I'm fun to work with.this picture, from here). They are very impressive in person.
It was cloudy today, so I wore my leather jacket. It's a Canadian-made leather Danier Couture that I last wore here in April with plaid.
The navy blue blouse has nice mini-accordion pleats in a ruffle around the neck - very dramatic.I last wore it here in April with shoes my husband hates. Hee.
here in a majorly funky outfit in June, for L's birthday.
here in April with rainy florals.
Jacket (Danier Couture, consignment), blouse (Mexx, consignment), jeans (Ralph Lauren, consignment), shoes (Presence Impulse, Fluevog), belt (gift from Ruth), studded cuff (homegrown vintage, late 80s), cuff (Guess, thrifted), earrings (local).
It's a long Labour Day weekend here, so I'll be back on Monday-ish. Don't forget about Shoe Shine starting tomorrow and going all week!
Interesting you should say that you feel the best when in your rocker incarnation - I feel the same way. As much as I love a good dress or skirt, when I'm wearing a kickass pair of great-fitting pants (hard to find!) an edgy jacket and boots, I feel like I am the most "Me", if that makes sense. For that reason, I'm looking forward to cooler weather.ReplyDelete
I also feel really good in my rocker mode--hardly ever can do it in my climate and with my work (just doesn't easily match the mode of a teacher, though your iteration here would probably work.) Anyway, I loved this ensemble of yours!ReplyDelete
This screams Sheila like no other and I absolutely love it - the trouser colour and shoe colour together make me smile.ReplyDelete
